Chapter 12 "Dinner"

When I walked into the kitchen to yell at my mom I saw she was standing there holding her hand in the air.

"I know exactly who that is so don't get all pissy with me, and don't do anything stupid."

"I don't want to have dinner with him."

"Sophie, we always don't get what we want." Then she walked out and put a big smile on her face.

"Jared! How nice to see you again!"

"Oh, you look lovely like always." He said

"Oh stop it! Come come let's eat."

After dinner was over I was ready to throw up, their baby talk was so cheesy it was disturbing. When I helped put all the dishes away I went straight into my room. I could hear all the baby talk through the walls. I texted Davis,

"Help me!"

"What?"

"My mom had a dinner date with her new boyfriend!"

"Ew. Who is it?"

"The principal!"

"God save you!"

"Can I crash at your place tonight my mom will probably give him a special dessert..."

"I'll be there in 10."

"Thank you!!!"

After I got packed and left a note on the kitchen counter I left. I wasn't going to ruin it like I ruined it for John, I was just going to get out of here!
