(Hannah gets in the car and starts to dive to school)

"Hannah..you know that mom would be happy for what you just did," Emma says with a look of admiration.

"Ya but not the yelling part"

"Hannah, you did the right thing, and we all know that you don't like her."

"Ya, but it's..just what she did was not right and how she thi-"

"Hannah stop, just stop talking about it, okay? And it's almost your birthday!"

"Ya i guess you're right"

"I'm always right," Emma joked.

"Ya okay," I laughed back.

Emma and I got to the school and went to class. We did 1 and 2 class. but now it was lunch. I went to my locker and when I got there, my best friend, Jenna was there.

"Hey Jenna"

"Hey girl, how are you?"

"I'm okay for now, but how 'bout you?"

"I'm great, but why are you just okay? Is it Emma, Anna or your mom? Wait ,no ... if its Zac, I'm going to kill hi-"

"It was Anna, okay. Oh my, you literally make me laugh every time you get worried."

" I know, but if its Zac, let me know, okay?"

" Ya, i got it....but here comes the devil himself!" I groan.

"Hey Jenna and Pig Face."

,"Her name is Hannah, and just go away Zac."

"Oh no, you have a friend who cares about you," Zac sneered.

" Zac, just leave Jenna out of this and leave me alone, thank you!"

"Let me think for a minute...no."

"Well, if you don't leave, then we will. Come on Hannah," Jenna called.

" Bye girls, see you soon."

(Jenna and I left and went outside for a little)

"Hey...Jenna, thank you," I said and I really meant it.

"Hey, that's what friends are for."

"Do you wanna come to my home?"

"I would love to, but my mom is having a friend coming."

"Nooo...it's fine haha." I laughed as I thought what I'd do if my mom tried to spring that on me.

"Ya okay"

(Jenna andI went back to class, but we didn't have the same class together. Zac and I did though.)

"Oh, its you," I groaned when I saw him.

"Oh, you didn't want to see me, you poor baby," he mocked.

"Zac, just get out of my way!"

"No, not until you say you love me," he said with a smirk on his face.

"Haha really? Not until I die, so I'm not going to say it again... please get out of my way."

"So you do love me, don't you?"

"Wow, you are funny! So, can you Get Out Of My WAY NOW!"

"Whatever...you love me," he laughed.

"In your dreams."

After that I went home and went to sleep.

I woke up to my annoying sister jumping on my bed. At first I was confused, but then I realized, it was my birthday. And suddenly Emma started yelling at me.

"Hannah get up, get up, mom has your birthday gift downstairs!"

"Ohhh, I literally forgot it was today. Okay, I'm coming"

I got out of bed and ran down. When I got to the kitchen I saw a man that I'd never seen before. I stopped where I was and just looked at my mom.

"Well dear, I have somebody that you need to meet."

"Okay?"

"Hi Hannah, I'm Chris, your mom's boyfriend," he said as he stepped forward.
