"WHAT HAPPENED?" I scream into the phone.
"I went to Ethan's house because I haven't heard from him recently. I went up to the door and knocked twice. There was no response. Then I jiggled the door handle to see that it was unlocked. I decided to let myself in because I was worried for him."
I sit silently waiting for him to say more.
