N - Locked Promises (Daeho)

Being in a relationship can be stressful at times. It could be freshly made with bumps all over or it could be old with cracks here and there. Those bumps could be smoothed out to pave the way and show that it was Being in a relationship can be stressful at times. That paved surface would eventually get a crack from a disagreement. Yet somehow, we know deep down that no matter how big the crack or bump you stayed.

Kim Daehyun and Kang Dongho were settled right in the middle of the bumps and cracks. Dae wanted it to work out. He was young a young male who stayed head over heels for his band mate/boyfriend Dongho. As each day went on it felt like the black haired male was grew more disinterested in the relationship and that scared the blonde. He had to act fast before it was too late.

The taller male removed a lock out from under his pillow and observed. He had been planning to go to namsan tower with Dongho later in the day. It was a cute, yet not so original, idea that seemed perfect the couple. The lock was placed in Dae's jacket pocket as he set out to find the black haired male.

Dongho was perched by the coffee table, reading a book he'd gone through nearly a thousand or so times. He sighed placing it down, hearing a members footsteps trod across the wooden floorboards. The older male didn't want to deal with anyones foolishness, that was until Dae walked in.

Dongho noticed the nervous blush that had set on his boyfriends cheeks and it sparked an interest to see what the younger was up too. 

"Ah hi hyung," Dae was pulled onto the older boy's lap, "Did I interrupt?" 

"Well I would say yes but that was until I saw your cute face round the corner" Dongho smirked. 

Dae fidgeted a bit before replying, "Can we go to Namsan Tower today? There's something I've been wanting to do"

The older male thought a bit and nodded causing the younger to grin. Dae hopped up and pulled Dongho with him. It was now or never. Both males got their shoes on and made their way to the tower. As they got closer, a nervousness spread through the maknaes stomache. He was scared that his boyfriend wouldn't want to do it. It was starting to seem like a stupid idea but it was already too late to back out.

The two boys took their time to admire the beautiful nature when they reached their destination. The sun was abnormally brighter, the air was unbelievably fresher, and the people surrounding them seemed happier. 

"So why did you ask to come here?" Dongho questioned as he looked around.

Dae pulled the lock out of his pocket and began rambling, "I know it's stupid and I didn't know if you'd want to or not but I was thinking a lot lately about how we're getting through our relationship and it isn't the easiest and then I thought that it would help if we could make some promises to each other or to our relationship and maybe write our names on the lock after we say our promise or something and then ya know lock it on the fence so it's sealed but as I say it out loud I feel like you wouldn't want to.." 

Dongho looked between the small metal object touched that his boyfriend would even think to do something this cute. He noticed the tears forming in the others eyes and his heart swelled more. If anything, it was perfect.

"Let's do it," the black haired male smiled and wiped the others eyes, "please don't cry I love it." Dae nodded and smiled weakly as he opened the lock. He took a marker from his pocket handing it to the shorter male who thought a moment. "Kim Daehyun, I promise you that I'll always be here to bring you up when you're down and to always support you. You are an amazing boyfriend and I promise that I'll always fight to keep us together" Dongho wrote his initals and kissed Dae's nose.

Dae gingerly took the marker from his boyfriend, "Kang Dongho I promise that I'll make you happy and I promise to not be a nuisance of a boyfriend as well as make you feel just as loved and supported in this relationship. We're in this together." The blonde signed his own initials under the black haired males and together they closed the lock on the fence. Their promises to each other were now locked in place.

Dongho looked at his boyfriend and pulled him into a hug, "I love you Dae."

 "I love you too," Dae responded, all the stress leaving his heart.
