and it was the words that made mina break into tears. she never thought chaeyoung was still waiting for her. she thought, she finally moved on and found someone new like she did but she was wrong. but what else could she do? they reached the ending of their book and need to start anew. it was a pleasant and nice once upon a time, but there was no happily ever after.

memories of them together flashed back in her mind. from the start when she met chaeyoung at the park eating ice cream like it was the first time she tasted it, to the time when chaeyoung confessed, the moments where they were smiling and laughing like the day will never end, until the day chaeyoung left her. the day she felt she need someone new not knowing the consequences of her greediness.

she cried hard reminiscing their bitter-sweet past. she was a fool thinking she loved someone new, only to find out she loved chaeyoung more than she loved herself.

it was too late, indeed for them.
