The teenagers ran upstairs, only to find the twin's door locked.

"OSCAR AND FELIPE, OPEN THE DOOR THIS INSTANT!" Imelda yelled at the twins through the wooden door.

No response.

"DON'T MAKE ME FIND A WAY TO OPEN THE DOOR!" Imelda shouted.

Héctor flinched.

They heard hurrying over to the door.

There was the sound of someone unlocking the door.

The door swung open to reveal a frantic looking Felipe.

Imelda's face softened.

"What's wrong, Felipe?"

Felipe didn't respond, but kept breathing heavily.

Imelda put her hand on Felipe's shoulder to get his attention.

Felipe looked up at her, face horrified.

"What's the matter?" Imelda asked again.

"O-Oscar!" Felipe said.

Concern conquered Imelda's features.

"What about Oscar?" Imelda asked.

Felipe tugged at his hair.

"Blood... blood.... blood.... blood.... BLOOD!" Felipe gasped.

Fear took a hold of Imelda.

"Where is he?!" Imelda frantically asked.

Felipe shakily pointed to the floor between their beds.

Felipe's bed blocked Oscar from being seen.

Imelda rushed over to see Oscar, and froze in fear and shock.

Oscar was doubled over, blood dripping from his mouth.

There was a puddle of blood on the floor beneath Oscar.

He was shaking.

His breathing was ragged and heavy.

Imelda rushed beside Oscar and put her hand on his back.

She looked up at Héctor and Ernesto.

"Go get some warm, damp washcloths." Imelda said. "And a mop."

Héctor and Ernesto ran out of the room.

Imelda looked at Oscar, then Felipe, who was standing fearfully, back against a wall.

"Tell me what happened." Imelda said, firm, but sweet.

"I-I woke up when I he-eard O-Oscar scream-m!" Felipe said. "When I woke u-up he wa-as bleeding-ng!"

Imelda nodded.

She moved her hand back and forth on Oscar's back.

Héctor ran upstairs first, and immediately handed her the washcloth.

Imelda wiped Oscar's face, until there was no more blood, except for the blood slowly dripping from his mouth.

Ernesto soon entered, and said he could mop the blood.

Imelda nodded, and set Oscar on his bed.

Luckily, no blood got on his sheets.

"Oscar." Imelda gently asked. "What happened?"

Oscar groaned.

"Nightmare..." Oscar croaked.

Imelda looked at him confused.

"It's understandable that you would have a nightmare, but why are you bleeding?" Imelda asked. "And why didn't Felipe get one?"

Felipe spoke up.

"A-actually, I did have a nightmare, and that helped wake me up, but I didn't scream or bleed like Oscar." Felipe stuttered.

Felipe paused.

Realization crossed his features.

"Wait...." Felipe slowly said.

Imelda looked at him patiently.

"Oscar... he... he.." Felipe stuttered. "He got more poison than I did."

"How?" Imelda asked.

Felipe hesitated.

"Lucía would make us eat all the poisoned food, but Oscar ate about half of mine for me..."

Imelda sighed.

"When he was sick, we would both clean up, but when I was sick, he made me sit down... he worked much more than I did..." Felipe said, bowing his head in shame.

Imelda sat there for a moment.

She turned to Oscar.

"Oscar, I need you to open your mouth." Imelda said.

Oscar barely opened it, since he was too weak at the moment.

Imelda helped him.

Imelda looked at his gums.

His gums weren't bleeding.

"The blood must be because of the poison, then." Imelda thought.

Imelda sighed.

She grabbed a towel, and put it under Oscar's head.

"Now, when blood comes out of his mouth, it will fall on the towel." Imelda decided.

Imelda walked over to Felipe and felt his forehead.

"You're still sick as well, go to bed." Imelda said.

Felipe warily nodded, and laid in his bed.

Imelda, Héctor, and Ernesto left the room.

Felipe lied in bed, watching his brother worrily, as he tried to rest.

He found it impossible.

Hey guys, I had a MAJOR writers block on this chapter. I originally wrote this chapter with over 600 words, but when I came back to finish it, the chapter never saved. I got so mad, I didn't rewrite the chapter for 2 days. Anyway, in the original version of this chapter, both of the twins were bleeding. Now that I think about it, this version is probably better.
