Chapter Seven, Shapeshifter

You attended and finish what's left of your second class, come break you don't know what to do. You assume Ryuko wants nothing to do with you right now, taking that out of the question. So you decided to wander around aimlessly inside the school.

Meanwhile, with Ryuko...

"Man I know Kira had it coming and all but (Y/N) definitely went overboard..." Ryuko says as she scratches the back of her head.

Mako replies bluntly as usual "Maybe (Y/N) got so serious and mean cus he likes you"

Ryuko blushes and jumps back, caught off guard "W-what gave you that idea?!" Almost too flustered to speak.

"Oh I dunno, you two just give each other funny looks a lot, but it's okay Ryuko, I'm over (Y/N)" she says almost as if (Y/N) and Ryuko already have a thing going on and that she needed to approve it.

Ryuko gets both embarrassed and slightly angry "Mako I think you're jumping the gun here! How'd we even get on this? Also I thought you liked (Y/N)!?"

"I like the new kid! He's super cute" Mako's eyes twinkle as she speaks.

Ryuko's face shifts to a -_-
"Man, you change your mind fast.."

And speak of the devil, Ryuko and Mako turn a corner and the new kid bumps right into Ryuko and they knock each other down.

"Hey watch it!" Ryuko says angrily as she rubs her back end after falling on it.

Loki springs up quickly "Sorry! sorry! I'm real sorry!" He gets on his knees infront of the now standing Ryuko and pleads with his hands together for mercy.

"Woah, calm down man, it was an accident... Don't get all weird on me" Ryuko says as she slowly backs up from the boy throwing himself at her feet.

After her pardon the boy quickly stands up normal and retains a normal appearance "Well, be seeing you" and with that he walks past Ryuko and Mako and seemingly speed walks away.

Ryuko tilts her head in confusion
"The hell?"

Mako is steaming like a train "Don't go getting any smart ideas missy, he's mine!" Mako says with fire in her eyes.

Ryuko's face returns to her blank -_- expression "So maybe you should've said something to him rather than seizing up, and don't start with asking him to have sex either.." Ryuko says with a blunt tone.

"Ryuko, there's something strange about that boy... Be careful"

Ryuko looks down at her scarf and just nods in acknowledgement while she gazes down the hall where the boy strode off, he's already gone from sight which would've required a speed walk at best.

Back to (Y/N)...

Wandering around in the lower levels of the school, where the gym was along with other non mandatory classrooms.

"So how you gonna confront Ryuko after break in class?" Your symbiote starts up.

"Hoping that she approaches me, I don't really think starting with 'Hey sorry about rearranging your boyfriends face' is a good conversation opener." You say as you continue to walk around, hands in your pockets.
"Loki still here?" You ask your symbiotic demon.

"Uh, I dunno"

"The hell kind of answer is that?" You say frustratedly.

"Uhhh, I dunno..."

"What is wrong with you lately? You're progressively getting stupider" you quietly freak out on yourself technically.
