-Sarahs Point Of View-

Today was the day we had that stupid field trip to RiverZone,a.k.a the kiddie rides to hell. We're sitting in a hot, stuffy classroom, while Mr.Brunner re-iterated the rules and safety tips he had gone over the day before. Most of the kids had passed out from heat exhaustion and or boredom, while the rest of us were on our phones,or doing something else other than listening to Mr.Brunner's stupid lectures. Finally,a piercing and muffled,

"Seniors, head outside to the buses outfront, thank you"

Comes over the PA,and everyone jumps up,and gets their book bags filled with their weird swimming junk, and they race outside to the buses.

'Here comes the chaos'

I mumble to myself as I make my way to the fifth bus.I always sit on the fifth bus, third row,two seater, window seat. It's just tradition. We all have seats we always sit in at lunchtime, why should the bus be any different?

I usually sit alone, since no one really wants to sit with me anyways.Remember, tradition states that you must never change your seat, unless asked, forced,or re-assigned.As the lanky nerds, the wannabe-jocks,the weebs and otakus, the loners and stoners, and the losers climb onto the bus,I sneak out my phone, and plug my headphones in,and play some P!NK,drowning out any noise that might have interrupted my nap.As I begin to close my eyes, someone taps me on the shoulder.

My eyes flutter open in surprise.I look up to see some lanky tennager in a grey, oversized hoodie, and a denim jacket pulled over it.He had black jeans, and a pair of white Nikes. He gives a warm smile, and says

"Hey,mind if I sit here? You seem kinda lonely."

I arch an eyebrow, and reply to his comment with a snarky

"Don't you have anywhere else too sit?"
