i personally deemed this story as mature for a few reasons. the main reason is one of the problems in the story. our main character, joey, is emotionally and physically abused by her ex-boyfriend. it isnt anything deeply horrific; the ex doesnt harm her too terribly bad. i dont want to go into detail right now. my point is, i guess, any abuse is bad. its worth noting. im not going to write about it and not warn you, because thatd just be careless and a bit insensitive. im telling you now that if even a little bit of graphic writing will trigger you in any way, please be careful. i love you<3
(also the whole "well this is awkward so we'll finish this sexual intercourse later" plot thing is a bit mature so please, please read at your own risk.)
