Silent laughter

Naruto versus Neji

"Welcome everyone to the final star of the Chunin exams" the proctor called out to the crowd. His greeting was met with the roar of the crowd as all of the Genin lines up in rows in front of him. Every one was accounted for except Sauske

'Where is that bastard' I thought looking at the other contestants.

"Now let's begin the first round. Behind Hyuga versus Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze" the proctor yelled.

'Damn' I thought as I looked over at Neji. 'His byakugan can see 360 degrees around so I am going to have to move quickly' I thought as the other contestants cleared the area

"Are you both ready" the proctor asked. We both nodded our heads yes. The proctor jumped backwards signaling that the fight has begun. I threw a handful of kunai at Neji like I did in my match with Kiba except this time they went flying in all different directions. All of them flew just outside of Neji's reach. I teleported to the one closest to his head, and was greeted with a palm flying at my face. I quickly teleported to one of my kunai That were now behind him and threw a kick. He easily caught my kick and threw me over his shoulder. As I flew through the air I made about four shadow clone. They all caught me before I fell to the ground. Through the smoke that was created after I made the clones I threw three kunai. One to each side of Neji and one arcing through the air. I threw one of my shadow clones strait at Neji with a kunai in hand (think Boruto stream-ish) and the other two teleported to one of the two kunai I threw to the sides. Once they were there they threw more kunai at Neji. As my clones were about to make contact the kunai that I sent into the air was dropping just above Neji's head. I teleported to that one with my fist back ready to punch him

'He can't block all of this' I thought as I dropped from above. As every move I made was about to hit a dome of chakra coming from Neji's body deflected all of the attacks. The kunai were thrown back destroying my shadow clones and I was sent back into the air. I teleported to one of my kunai That was lying on the ground from a previous attack. This gave me an idea.

"You can't beat me" Neji called out to me as he went on this tangent about the traditions and hierarchy of the Hyuga clan, and how we are all bound by destiny. During his speech I was executing my plan. During the entire match so far I had be the aggressor and Neji has stayed on the defense keeping the same distance. I slowly moved hoping that he would see this as an involuntary muscle movement.

'This is my last shot' I bought as I threw my last kunai at him. He easily side stepped it and threw his attack early hoping to hit me as I came out of the kunai, but I never did. I teleported to the one that he was now standing over. I landed a strong palm strike to his stomach sending him a few feet back. I was able to mark him with that last blow

"How?" He questioned as he put my plan together. Once it came to him he gritted his tears and ran at me. As he was about to make contact I teleported behind him throwing the same kick I did earlier in the match. This time it made contact. This went on for a few minutes as Neji attacked me with many different hand strikes including the main families jutsu. He was able to land a few hits blocking off some of my chakra points but not enough. Sooner or later I landed one good punch to the side of his head knocking him out. I fell to one knee do to chakra exhaustion. The proctor announced that I was the winner and the crowd roared back at me.

'I won' I thought with a smile on my face as I looked up to the box where the Kage watched the exams. My father was out of his seat in joy and the Kazekage nodded his head approvingly

'I will pass this' I thought standing up 'I got this in the bag' I thought as I raised my fist in triumph making the crowd go crazy.

-some where in the woods

3rd POV

Sauske search all over the woods for his older brother until he gave up and went back to where he woke up

"That damn idiot. He says he wants to talk and then do not show up" he said out loud as a presence appeared behind him

"What was that little brother" Itachi Said. Sauske flung his head around with his sharingan activated and a chidori charged in his hands. He plunged the chidori into Itachi's chest. Itachi looked down at the wound as his body padded into crows

"Oh little brother do you still hate me" he said re appearing behind him

"And why would I not" he said turning around in Itachi's he jutsu world.

"You hate the wrong people" Itachi said as he leaned against a tree "what did I tell you years ago" he said looking at his nails

"Let your hatred grow. For the Namikaze's have done this wrong to you and me" Sauske said repeating what his brother told him on the night of the massacre.

"Now when to take that message to heart find one of my crows the one that is always watching. He will lead you to me only when you hate them as much as I do" Itachi said releasing the genjutsu. Sauske woke up in a panic. He looked into the sky to see that the sun was at high noon. He could also hear a crowd in the distance.

'Shit the exams' he swore as he ran off the the exams thinking about what his brother told him

'Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze I will defeat you'
