So I have a few writing tips I'd like to share with y'all:
*ahem*
-when you use a verb, especially ones like walk, said, ran and looked, always look up their synonyms! Seriously there will be plenty of results that will provide/supply/give/produce etc. you with a surplus of better words to use/utilise rather than the basic ones!
-use short sentences. However also make sure you use long sentences as the two varied sentence structures provide different effects.
-double check it. I don't but I should.
-show it to someone else to check it too. When you write and re-read something your brain doesn't look at all the details because it knows what it should say. Someone who doesn't know what will happen next will look at all the details and see plot errors, grammar mistakes and probably a lot more!
