but fame got into her
she has changed for a while
and got boastful after
a man of his word
never had girlfriends and has never hurt
a man that money can't afford;
pure as a white shirt
teased and went real
tried but failed
hurt and betrayed
and cried on top of the hill
played by destiny
lovers denied by fate
still not sure, but will wait
a promise faked by eternity
