the rain is pouring.
the time is running
the waves are raging.
my heart is breaking.

eyes are crying.
hands are sweating.
knees are stumbling.
still my heart is breaking.

not as calm as the tide.
not as happy with your side.
not as easy to abide.
never easy to be denied.

this day i cried.
this day i lied.
this day i can't hide.
this day my heart died.
