You vowed never to get a tattoo for someone you're dating!

That's what I used to tell myself before but—prepare yourself for the corniest line known the man—that was before Harry.

And as cliche as it sounds, it's true. I was absolutely adamant about only getting tattoos for family or myself, and ONLY THAT. But here we are.

I'm backstage in Harry's dressing room waiting to surprise him once he comes back from rehearsing for the show tonight. I was sitting on the small couch, nervously shaking my leg as I anticipated seeing Haz and showing him my new ink.

I didn't know if he'd like it not that it matters because I love it, but it is basically a tattoo for him so I want him to like it. Confusing, I know. I hadn't shown anyone but Gemma since she went with me, and she said she absolutely loved it. And as sweet as she is, it didn't really make me feel better, it made me more anxious. It just made it that much harder to know if Harry would like it or not.

It wasn't his face or his full name but it was his hand adorned by his favorite rings while holding a rose.

My very good friend had brought my idea to life so beautifully with her artistic talent, and I tried to convince her to go with Gemma and I to see her artwork get permanently inked onto my skin but she had plans with her family already.

The choice of placement was by far the most confusing, I didn't know if I wanted it on my forearm, my shoulder, my side, my leg or my thigh. But thanks to my new tattoo artist friend Aj, I decided it would look best on my side.

I made sure to get it done before the concert so I could still be able to get ready and see his last show. Since my new ink is on my side, I made sure to wear a loose crop top to make it easier for me to show him.

Almost too soon, I hear the music stop playing indicating that they were done with rehearsals. Instantly feeling butterflies, I stood up and paced back and forth, anticipating getting to see Harry and his reaction.

I could hear voices getting louder and louder, as whoever was talking grew closer to the dressing rooms. I stopped pacing and stood by the small couch just waiting for my boyfriend to open the door.

Suddenly there he was, plain white tee with his black and white striped pants and classic black vans looking as happy as ever.

"Hey kitten! Didn't know you were actually coming so early. Thought you'd come later." Haz grinned widely as he approached me to pull me into a hug. Thankfully he wrapped his arms around my neck to playfully swing us back and forth.

"Decided to come early so you have a chance to see something I got." I smiled, my voice muffled by being pressed up against his chest.

He immediately pulled away looking at me confused, "What'd you get?"

Instead of getting jumpy and squealing in excitement I was suddenly hit with reality again. Harry really could find the tattoo weird, like if I have an obsession with him or something. I noticed he was now looking at me worryingly so I shook my head to clear away the negative thoughts.

"Before I show you, please know that it means a lot to me because it has a lot to do with someone who I admire, love and respect a lot. Okay?" I nervously laughed.

"Yeah, of course kitten. Would never make you feel bad or anything." He nodded, softly rubbing his hand up and down my arm.

"Okay," I sighed as I slowly pulled my crop top up and moved to the side to give him a clear glimpse at the fresh ink.

His face immediately becomes rosy, like he's flustered...and his enormous grin becomes a soft smile but his eyes are practically lighting up. It's one of the purest reactions I had ever seen and it made my heart swell.

"Do you like it?" I whispered.

"I love it." He replied as his gaze flickers from you to the tattoo. "I absolutely love it, it's perfect."

"I was really hoping you'd like it. Got kind of nervous." I shyly admitted as I put my top down.

Harry gently reached for one of my hands, sweetly placing a kiss on it, "Why would you be nervous about showing me? Or me liking it?" He smirked.

"Thought you'd think I was a creep and obsessed with you...and not in the cute way." I laughed, feeling a bit bashful to say that.

"I mean you are a creep." He chuckled, causing me to gasp and smack his chest. "But you know I still love you regardless kitten." He shrieked as he feigned being in pain.

"Do you really love it?" I asked again, still feeling a bit anxious.

"Of course I love it. Did you sketch it?" Harry questioned in a very cheeky manner, knowing very well I don't have the artistic ability to draw anything that amazing.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny. No it wasn't my sketch. I had a good friend of mine bring my idea to life. She would've gone with me while I got it done but she had plans so Gem went with me." I explained, going to sit on the small couch again with Haz following close behind.

"Where's Gem? Did she get something?" He groaned as he sat down. He wrapped his arm round my shoulders as I scooted closer to his body, feeling his warmth radiating off his skin.

"Back at our place taking a power nap. And no she didn't get one, she wanted to but had no idea what to get. I suggested you two get matching or coordinated tattoos. She said she was up for it if you are." I recalled, taking Harry's hand in mine so I could play with the rings on his fingers.

"Hmm, I'll have to think about it." He muttered lowly.

We sat in silence for a few minutes until Haz finally spoke up, "Thank you for getting a tattoo of me, or rather, a tattoo that represents me. I really do love it. It looks amazing, everything about it was very well done." He said, with that heartwarming dimples smile that could light up an entire arena.

"I'm glad you like it," I quietly laughed, "Because it's permanent and I would probably cry if you didn't."

Harry burst into laughter, kissing my temple as he finally begins to ask me how the pain was or what shop I went to. It made me more relieved that he loved it as much as I did.

First of all, I'm so sorry for being gone for a while, life got a bit too complicated but everything's good now. Second of all, can we just appreciate @bespokestyles from Twitter and her tattoo dedicated to Harry?? Wow all photo and tattoo credit to her obviously, it came out so good, I'm obsessed!
And finally, I saw Harry live in Sacramento on Monday (July 9th) and it was the best experience ever!! His suit, his performance, his humbleness, his banter with the crowd, everything about him is so pure and kind. I love him. I hope everyone who loves Harry gets to see or meet him one day, it's unreal.

Also, thank you for the 200+ views it's so so so appreciated!!Ok thanks for reading, lovelies
