My Own Fairy Tail

One - The Beginning

I was heading back to my house that my mom, Lucy, my father, Natsu and I were living in.

I open the door and walked inside.
"Mom! Dad! I'm back!" I announced.

"Welcome back Latania!" My father was the first to say.

Latania is a nickname my father gave me when I was little, it means queen of fairies.

I smiled at him.
"Hey dad." I said.

"Natsu!" Faith said.

"Hey Faith!" He said as he hugged her.
"How was the job?" He asked me.

"It was pretty easy actually." I told him.

"Probably because you're all so strong and worked together." He said.

"Yeah," I started, "where's mom?"

"She's out getting food." He told me.

"Ok." I said.

"We should have White over for dinner, I'm sure he wouldn't mind." He told me.

I blushed slightly.
"Why?" I asked him.

"Well, I just thought that you don't spend a lot of time with him, like alone, why just have him over for dinner, and of course you do have a crush on him..." He said.

"I do not!" I said blushing madly.

"You love him!" Faith said.

"I don't you dumb dog!" I told them.

"Natalie?" Someone said.

I turned around and saw my mom and White!?
I blushed so red that I probably looked like a tomato.

"Welcome back Natalie!" My mom said as she hugged me taking my distraction off White.

"Hey mom." I said as I hugged her back.

My mom had White walk inside so she could close the door.
"I ran into White on the way home and thought it would be nice to have him over for dinner." She told me.

"We were thinking the same thing!" My father said.

I blushed redder.

"Yeah we were!" Faith said.

"I don't really mind, you guys are like a second family to me." White said.
He looked right at me.

I looked back at him, blushing slightly.

We all sat at the kitchen table and eat what my mom had prepared for us to eat.

After we had finished we talked for a bit.

"So when's the next job?" My dad asks excitedly.

"Don't know right now." I told him.

"We have to check the billboard, but for now we're going to rest." White added.

I nodded at his answer.

My mom looked at the clock.
"Oh my gosh, White, you should get to your place." She told him.

"Ok." He said as he got up.

"White let me walk you half way." I told him as I was getting my scarf.

"Sure, I would like that." He said with a slight smile.

I've never seen him smile fully.
I've always wanted to though.

"Be safe dear!" My mom said.

"I will!" I said as White and I started walking.

"Your family is always so nice and welcoming." White told me.
