Justin's POV:

I arrived outside Ellie's house, it was an average looking house, I walked up to the door, rang the doorbell and seconds later, Ellie's Mom' opened the door to me, before saying anything she scanned me up and down.

"You must be Justin," She smiled politely at me.

"Yeah, and you are, Ellie's Mom', Mrs Lopez." I replied looking to the background of her. I then added on,

"You're looking wonderful Mrs Lopez!"

"Why thank you, sweet, young man." She replied making an entrance for me. "Make yourself at home, Ellie is upstairs to the right."

I smiled and nodded politely, I slowly walked upstairs following Mrs Lopez's instructions completely, I found Ellie's room and barged in without a word, I slammed the door shut and threw my bag onto the bed. I then sat myself down and looked down at Ellie kneeled down on the floor, working on the project.

"Do you mind knocking?" She looked up at me and sighed.

"Yes, I do," I grinned and said this. I then added onto my unfinished sentence, "I'm not doing any work, if that's what your wondering."

Ellie shook her head and huffed at me, she carried on working, I could see the effort she was putting into the piece of work, looking like she could use a bit of help. I thought for a bit and then finally got up kneeling down next to her. I picked up a pencil crayon and started colouring the parts she hadn't touched.

Suddenly I realised her hand stopped moving, I looked at it, then slowly gliding up to her face. She was sat there smiling at me.

"What's up?" I asked questioningly, no idea why she was smiling.

She giggled cutely then blushing as she said, "So you do have a soft side,"

I stuttered and replied in embarrassment, "Er, N-Naa'"

I looked down at the paper as her left hand pulled me to her face, eye to eye contact. We looked at each other for a few seconds, before I leaned in, our lips not far away from touching. The rooms door suddenly opened as we quickly moved away from each other. Mrs Lopez walked in with a bowl of popcorn.

I thought for a second before getting up, taking a grab at my bag and heading for the door as Ellie's words stopped me.

"Tomorrow, yours?"

I smirked and nodded as I rushed out the smell wondering the hallways. I ran down the stairs sliding over the banister. Then I twisted open the door, rubbing the back of my neck in confusion of what just happened.
