The photo was the first thing Ravan saw when he woke up.
He was pissed.
"How could she have lied to me?", he raged, pacing across the room, "How could she choose his companionship over mine?!"
Tyler pressed his fingers to his temples.
"How many times do I have to tell you?? Get over her!"
Ravan faced him. "It's not that easy!"
"Maybe it would be easier if you weren't a stubborn jackass!"
The winged boy stiffened at the insult.
They glared at each other, daggers shooting from their eyes.
"He's not good enough for her", Ravan said slowly.
"And she's not good enough for you!"
"I don't care!"
Tyler looked down at his feet, clenching his hands.
"You know she's falling for him right? I can see it in her mind. And he's already fallen for her. Yet you continue to chase a love that wasn't meant to be."
"I love her", Ravan persisted.
"And someone else loves you! But you're too fucking dense to see it!"
Ravan stopped.
"Who?"
"I can't say. It's not my place to say it."
The dark haired boy scowled.
"You're a really shitty friend, you know that?"
"It's me!", Tyler screamed, getting in Ravan's face, "I'm the one who loves you! I'm the one always there for you even when all you think or talk about is Kitsune! Me! Not her!"
He backed off, anger flashing in his eyes.
"But like I said, you're too fucking dense to see it."
Ravan looked at Tyler in shock.
"Tyler-"
"Get the hell out of my house."
