Okay, so, you know how some stories are inspired by dreams?

Yeah? What's your point?

This book is... a little different.

"A little different"?

It's inspired by my recent nightmares. They're not gorey or anything, just really strange and creepy. That's the scary part that wakes me up. I don't really know what happens to the people in them.

So why are you telling us this?

Well, I'm starting a new book with short stories I've written inspired by those nightmares. The creatures in them always say they're from the Badlands, so I named it Souls of the Badlands.
