*Fun Home (musical) ... Fun Home is a musical adapted by Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori from Alison Bechdel's 2006 graphic memoir of the same name. The story concerns Bechdel's discovery of her own sexuality, her relationship with her gay father, and her attempts to unlock the mysteries surrounding his life.

Fun Home is amazing. It shows how 10 year old Alice who is questioning  who she really is, and 19 year old Alice  who is finally finding out who she really is, and then there is 43 year old Alice who is narrating her past life during this whole story. This musical is a tear jerkier and I have to say it is very underrated. This is a musical that I could feel like I could feel like it is very welcoming to all people lgbtq+ and it's handling the matter very well through song. I know I say this for a lot of musicals, but it's all true! This is also one of those musicals that reminds you everyone is fighting their own battle, and that you are not alone. (Dear Evan Hansen reference!)  I left a song for you on the top if you are interested, and It is about Small Alison singing about a girl she saw in a luncheonette where she is questioning how she feels about her. It is Called "Ring of Keys", and not, "Changing My Major to Joan"! In case you are wondering why I said that, it is only because my friend accidentally listened to this one, and doesn't want anything else to do with the musical after she listened to it sadly. Trust me you don't want to know what this song is about if you don't like this musical. So please listen to Ring Of Keys first if you want to know this musical.
