Just a ghost

I was stepping into the shower when I realized- my life is going no where. I have no money, no one to contact, no family, nothing. Now that I'm standing here with warm water slowly drifting down my spine, I can't think of a reason to live. I'm left here all alone with my thoughts while my family are all out celebrating my popular twin sister's one month anniversary with her disgusting dirty ass boyfriend.

Yes, you heard me correctly. All my life my parents have preferred her. She's always been stuck up towards me, she's always bullied me. She is the beautiful and popular one in the family. Meanwhile I'm the "disgrace". My success has always gone unrecognized, while they will celebrate anything she's done. Even a stupid one month "anniversary" with a guy she's cheating on with his own brother behind his back. It's fair to say that I have no love or respect for my sister or parents. Neither do they share that love with me.

I want to leave this house, I don't want to live here in a place where I'm not appreciated or even acknowledged. I don't even exist to my parents. They haven't noticed that I stopped eating a whole year and a half ago. They haven't noticed my almost see-through body. It makes me wonder if I'm an actual ghost. My skin is pale enough to be one.

I turn off the shower and step out onto a brown fuzzy rug right next to the sad toilet in this depressed bathroom. The more I blink my eyes the more it seems as if the walls are caving in closer and closer. I wrapped this large brown towel around my bony body and put my hair into a bun. Suddenly, my phone buzzed. I had no interest in seeing who is texting me on this drowsy evening. It buzzed multiple times then suddenly rung. I answered my phone rolling my eyes.

"Hello?" I say in a very annoyed tone.

"Hey Sarah! It's Bryon. Why do you sound like that? Also why weren't you answering my calls? What are you doing right now?" He says very fast.

"He-"

"Say no more, I'm on my way!"

Great. Another human to deal with. I looked into the mirror then went underneath the cabinet to grab the scale to see how much I weigh. When I stepped onto it I was disappointed. 120 pounds. Only 2 pounds. I could've lost more than that. Whatever. Bry was on his way and I haven't even put pants on yet.

Bryon is a very annoying and flamboyant kid. If you looked up the definition of fabulous I guarantee the first thing you'll see is his face. I guess he's the happiest thing I have going in my life right now. He's the only one who ever listens to me. Though, I'm not that open with him. He's very popular and not afraid to express himself. And a huge extrovert. Here he comes again to take me on another one of his adventures. The door rings and scares my cat out of my lap I got up to answer it.

"HAAYYY SIS! You look.. great! C'mon I have something to show you!"

He grabbed my wrist and dragged me out before I even got a chance to breathe.
