Nanbaka Fanfic: The Quiet One

Chapter 25

The death of Kana brought misery to the inmates and some guards, it hasn't been a full hour since that happened, but no one wanted to leave her side

Hajime had put the other inmates in some cells at building 13 temporarily until they get over Kana, he placed them on seperate cells fearing that they would start blaming eachother then would result to someone beating up someone

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it all! I could've stopped it from happening! I could've stopped her death...... I failed to stop her.. I noticed it too late.." A certain someone cried in anger as he punched the wall with his fist, he didn't care if his fist bled or how it hurts, he just wanted Kana back "But I coudn't do anything! I'm so sorry Kana! Please come back! I miss you so much!"

Outside his door, his supervisor/guard friend was  looking at him in sadness, he let him scream and cry for Kana in hopes that he might get better

(Time skip in the game room)

The inmates were told by the guards to play or have fun, so that's why they're in the game room, but ....no one was playing anything, they stared at the bullseye Kana made before, they didn't took it out since they want to remember how great it was.. but who knew thet would appreciate it this much.... who knew this would be something someone dear to the left behind..

The guards stared at the inmates sadly, some guards were as sad as them.. but they can't do anything about it anymore.. a dead person is a dead person..

(Next day)

The inmates were told to get some freash air, they didn't want to leave the building so they individually walked around building 13, some went to the arcade room to see her score at a game,some went to her room, the others just aimlessly wandered around

A certain someone stopped at the infirmary, he opened the door, and saw Kana, same as before, pale, lifeless, beautiful...., currently they were both alone, the doctor out somewhere, while the other patients got better

"Kana.." a tear slipped down again, he sat next to her bed, he carresed her cheek, and tucked some hair behind her ear "wake up... come on.. I don't like this kinds of stuff"

Being dead, and lifeless.. Kana made no response

The certain someone took her hand into his, and kissed it a few times "Do you know how much you worry me? Do you know how much I miss you? Do you know how many tears I've shed in less than a day? Do you know how angry I am at my self? From not protecting you enough..."

Still, no response has been made by her

"Kana, please wake up... I promise I'll cherish you more.. I'm sorry for everything.."

No response

"Kana... I don't want to say goodbye this way.." a tear slipped

No response

"Kana...wake up... I never even got to tell you.. how much I love you.." he leaned it and smashed his lips on hers, he cried knowing this is a farewell kiss
