Twenty-Three

I had my earphones in today before class. I sat in my seat with them still in, lost in the beautiful world of music. You came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder, but I was too distracted to notice. So you did the next best thing, you sat to my left, took my right earphone out of my ear and placed it in yours. That's when I noticed you and the close proximity between us, my cheeks flushing tomato red. You were too lost in my choice of music though, you looked alive, and you looked happy.
