Chapter Two

2 Weeks Later ; School Over ; Day Of Magcon ; Kailegh

Today was day of Magcon. I jumped up out of bed. It was Saturday and yesterday school ended. Erykah and I were going to stay at a hotel because my mom got us tickets for both days. I was thrilled because they were gonna stay in Georgia for about a week. Anyways It was already 1 in the afternoon, so I went to the bathroom and took a shower. After my shower I brushed my teeth and then got dressed. I wore light denim high waisted shorts, a white kind of crop top, a flannel, and my red vans. I only had on eye liner, mascara, and lip balm for makeup. About a week ago I dyed my hair to an ombré look, so it was straight. Erykah got here about 3 minutes ago. She wore the same shorts, black crop too, and white vans. Her makeup was done like mine and her hair was curled. She looked so pretty.

Anyways it was about 2:10 P.M and Erykah and I are on the way to the hotel. I packed all my things last night before I went to sleep so I could wake up with ease. The hotel was only 30 minutes away and the place was a 3 minute walk so everything was good. We finally arrived to the hotel, and my mum had checked us in. Our room was on the top floor, and it was room H182. The room was really big and nice. We set our suitcases down and headed to Magcon. I knew it was gonna be a really long line so we were kind of the first to get there. We got our tickets to everything and went inside. It was almost time for the meet and greet. I saw the boys come out and all the girls started screaming. I saw all the boys comes out, but one catches my eye. Shawn Mendes. They all ran to there stands. Erykah and I waited in Matt and Shawns line. They had on together. My heart pounded so fast. It was finally our turn.

" Hey beautifuls, what are your names? " Matt asked.
" I'm Erykah and this is Kailegh my best friend. " I smiled and waved to them. I saw Shawn staring at me.
" Such beautiful names for beautiful girls. " I blushed a scarlet red. I could tell.
" Thank you. " I finally said.
" Do you guys have twitters? " Shawn asked. I pulled out the paper I typed for him.
" Yeah we wrote these for you guys. " I handed him the paper and smiled.
" Awesome, would you guys like some pictures? " We nodded.

The first one was of Erykah and Matt, Matt had his arms around her waist and was behind her. It was so cute. Then it was him kissing her on the cheek. It was my turn with Shawn. Shawn put his arms on my waist and mine on his shoulders. Our heads touching and looking into each others eyes smiling really big. That moment was beautiful. The one after that was a picture of Shawn kissing me. It wasn't like a real kiss like his thumb was a little in between our lips but the picture was cute. The last picture was of all four of us.

" We hope to see you beautiful girls in the actual performances and probably after the show. " Matt said. We nodded and waved goodbye.

This is the best I just met the Shawn Freaking Mendes. Anyways we went to the Jack's table. I took a picture with Jack G as I was on his back with thumbs up and were laughing but the picture came out perfect. Erykah took one with him as he picked her up and hugged her. That was to adorable. Next was Jack J I took one with him as we hugged and he kissed me on the cheek. I loved it. Erykah and him did the same as well. They were so nice and amazing.

We went to meet some others like Cam, Nash, & Aaron. That was it until we had to go inside. Erykah and I were in the front of the stage short of behind some girls but that's okay. We were all so excited to see the guys perform and stuff. Erykah and I met three other girls. Jess, Cassie, & Tori. They were pretty cool and they were staying at same hotel. We got to exchange phone numbers and stuff. Soon the guys had came out. I was super excited.
After the dance challenge it was time for the last thing. Shawn was performing. He said he would start off with Life of the party, then Summertime Sadness, & lastly he was doing All Of The Stars. I loved all his covers to the songs. As he started singing I felt everything stop. His voice was just so amazing. As he sang he would look around the room at all the smiling girls. It was amazing how they had so many fans. When he scanned the room again while singing All Of The Stars he stopped at me. I smiled and waved to him. He smiled really big and kept singing. Wow what did I just do.

After the everything was finish we all stood in the hall of the building.

" So you guys wanna come to our room and we could hang out? " I asked the other girls.
" Yeah that would be cool. " Tori said and smiled.
" Would it be okay if we came too? " I turned around to see Shawn.
" Um haha. " I couldnt freaking speak.
" Yeah she would love that. " I heard Erykah say.
" Are you guys staying at the hotel down the street? " I nodded.
" Awesome, well here's my number and text me when you get there. So the guys and I could come down there. " I mentally screamed in my head. The Shawn Mendes gave me his number.
" Alright so see you later? " He said.
" Yeah, see you later for sure. " I said and smiled. He smiled then walked off waving bye. I waved back then turned around to the girls.
We all did this big dance because we were gonna hang out with the boys. We left the building and went to Zaxby's to eat. After eating we headed to the hotel. The girls and I made it to Erykah and I's room. I texted Shawn.

He is so sweet. I told the girls that the guys were coming. Soon I heard a knock and I went to get the door. All the boys were standing there. I blushed so hard.

" Hey Shawn. " I said.
" Hey Kailegh, So everyone this is the beautiful Kailegh I was talking about. " I blushed more.
" Yeah you weren't lying about that. " I heard Taylor say.
" Hey Kailegh. " It was Jack J.
" Hey Jack. " I said and smiled.
Everyone said hello to me and came in.

" Guys these are the girls. Erykah my best friend, Tori, Cassie, & Jess. " They all said hello.
" So um what shall we do ? " Erykah asked.
" How about Truth or Dare? " Nash asked.
" Yeah thats cool. " We all agreed.

We all sat in a circle and began. I sat next to Shawn & Jack J. Nash dared Cam to prank his mom and say he got his girlfriend pregnant. It was so funny. After that it just went on to Carter, to Jack G, to Tori, to Erykah. It was so funny Erykah got dared to kiss Matt for 30 seconds.

" Truth or Dare Kailegh? " She looked at me . I knew she would do something stupid.
" Dare. " She smirked.
" I dare you to go to the other room with Shawn for 10 minutes. " My face froze. I turned to Shawn and he got up and extended his hand. I took it and we walked to the other room. I glared at everyone as they whistled and ooh'd.

I shut the door and we just sat on the bed.

" Well since were here we should get to know each other. " I said and he smiled.
" I was gonna ask the same thing. " We laughed.

We started to talk about ourselves to each other. My arm had started to itch and I turned scratching it and I saw Shawn look at it. His eyes widen. I knew why. He saw my cuts.

" Oh my Kailegh why. " He asked grabbing my arm. I took a deep breathe and got ready to explain everything from my dad to Michelle.

'' It began the dad my dad left me. He used to hit me and my mom. One day after he beat me he had finally left. That week this girl Michelle told everyone about my dad beating me and leaving us. I don't even know why? After that, I've been called so many things. You're a whore, You're useless, You're ugly, You're fat, You're don't deserve to be here, all that kind of stuff. Then it came physically. Michelle started to push me around, then after school she would beat me up. Her friends would do the same. It was horrible. The only person who I told that helped me was Erykah. I never told my mom. I just never knew what I did to be treated so badly. '' I looked up to Shawn who had a worried look and then had tears coming out. I had been crying. 

'' I know we just met Kailegh, and I dont care. I want to be the one to protect you. I want to be the one to save you. I want you to know that your safe. I never want you to do that to yourself anymore. If anything ever happens you tell me. I'll be there for you no matter what. '' He hugged me tightly then I looked up and him. 

'' Thank you so much Shawn. '' He then leaned down and kissed me. 

I was kissing Shawn Mendes.
