Maxwell was walking back up to the wolf's den, after the events of earlier all he wanted was an ice cold beer and to sleep for a week, but he had duties to complete

"Alright Eli, what did you need?" Max walked down the stairs and threw a camouflaged backpack on the table nearby

"Well Moses, to put it bluntly I need you to join them." Eli was looking over a row of T.Vs all displaying different areas of the mountains they were in.

"What do you mean join them?"

"We need a spy, we have no idea what they are doing to our people, and we need someone to find out what their plans are"

"You want me to go in deep cover? "

"We need you to get in close with then, and I mean close, I'm talking fucking VIP here"

"Jesus. I mean are you sure you want me for this? Send Sullivan out there, he's just as qualified as I am"

"Look, I get that you hate the cult after what happened with you brothers but wee need you for this, Sully got taken last week. I wouldn't be doing this to you if I didn't need to" Eli

"Are you asking me to do this, or are you ordering me?" Max leaned onto the table

"I'm ordering you" Eli looked over to Max with a deadoan look.

"Fuck man, how would I even join them?"

"Well id start over in Falls End, you can take that girl we saved with you, speaking of her you should go check on her, might have so information."

"Alright, I'll head there, I could use a drink anyways." Max just nodded his head and went to help Wheaty, alas the girl knew nothing.

"Max!" Tammy cried out

"Yes ma'am?"

"Take her to falls end"

"Yes ma'am"
Max knew better than to argue with Tammy

Max guided the girl to the car before he sat in he pulled out a flask from his jacket and taking a drink, just a little Dutch courage for the road.

She seemed out of it, stuck in her own thoughts

"You know, I respect their choices and all, but I believe in one thing, freedom, whether it be freedom of speech or freedom of religion" he glanced over to her
"You look bothered, something wro-"
