The last day of high school.
It came quicker than I thought it would.
I was getting better.
It just took time.
Birthdays and Holidays were hard to get through.
I was looking at myself in the mirror.
The purple gown was flowing and the matching colored cap with the gold tassel complimented it.
There were only three of these gowns.
Ethan's.
Grayson's.
And mine.
Just us.
Like it's always been.
Us against the world.
* a few hours later *
I stood nervously at the side of the stage... waiting to give my speech. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I fidgeted with the paper that was in my hand.
"y/n y/l/n," the principal announces.
I receive my diploma and stand at the podium.
I gently lear my throat.
"Hello, my name in y/n y/l/n. I've been at this school since freshman year. WhenI joined I had 2 friends. Now leaving I have the same two friends watching over me. I've always worked hard because the outcome is rewarding. You must live every day as if it is your last. Not a day goes by where I don't say I love you, to Sean and Lisa who are basically my parents. They have done so much for me. And I just hope I make Ethan and Grayson Dolan proud. They were my brothers... and I love them. Thank you," everyone claps and I leave the stage.
I am greeted by a big hug from Sean and Lisa. I feel tears slip down my cheeks.
I didn't really know what life had planned for me next.
