"So, you've made your comeback! You appeared seemingly out of nowhere then disappeared for a while and now you're back and you're about to walk in your first fashion week. How does it feel?"
"It feels amazing. This has been my dream for so long and just to see it be realized is unbelievable. Everyday when I wake up I just feel like I have to pinch myself because I dreamed of this growing up and now I'm actually here."
"So take us through your journey. You were kind of low key for a model starting off but then when you came back, you came back with a bit of a scandal."
"I mean, I wouldn't really call it a scandal. In my junior year of college I got into a relationship and fell head over heels in love. That relationship went on and off for five years and somewhere in that time period, I lost the passion that I had for modeling. Then five years after that I came forward with my truth and decided that I'm not going to let anyone or anything, including myself hold me back from my dreams. And now we're here."
"You've credited your best friend and a few others with helping you get back to modeling. Can you tell us a little bit about her?"
"Kehlani is my best friend in this entire world. She's practically my sister. We grew up together, we do everything together, we're not ever really not together. She's a photographer so we're kind of the perfect match and I love her so much and can't even imagine what my life would be like without her."
"And your son, Aiden?"
"Aiden is the absolute light of my life. When he was a baby I used to just sit there and hold him and tell him that he saved me because he did. It was because of him that I got out of a situation that leaves a lot of people dead and he's just made my life what it is. He's made my life worth living."
"Last but not least, you know we have to talk about Drake, right?"
"I was waiting for that to come up."
"Are you guys together right now or no? Because he released a new album and people have been trying to guess which song is about you."
"We're not together right now um, because it was just a mutual decision that we both have things that we should be focused on and being in a relationship didn't feel right because it was like, we weren't giving our all. Like we had so much going on that we couldn't really be dedicated to each other. I love him, I'm always going to love him and I'm so grateful for the role that he has played in my life, and I wish him nothing but the best."
