{Chapter 10: Trouble at the Bad Boy's Household}
Jack was helping his mother in the kitchen the night after Katie's dinner as his older brother Max walked in, his leather jacket thrown over his shoulder.
Jack turned around, crossing his arms. "Well look who decided to come visit from jail."
Max shrugged. "Can I not come home to my marvelous family?" He asked sarcastically.
"No. You can't."
Their mother sighed. "I don't understand how you two can be so alike but yet hate each other so much."
"It's a brother thing." Jack lied. Being brothers didn't have anything to do with what the two were talking about.
"Can I talk to you outside, bro?" Max asked -or rather commanded- him.
"Of course." He spat, following him out into the backyard.
Once outside, Jack closed the backdoor. "You have some nerve coming here." Jack spat, facing his brother with his arms crossed.
"What coming home to my family?" Max replied, innocently.
"Cut the act, Max. I thought we agreed that you stay away from here."
"And I thought we agreed that we don't bring in people from outside!" Max shouted back, his anger rising.
"We haven't, Max! No new additions to the group of people who were here before."
Max grabbed the collar of Jack's shirt, slamming him into the side of the house as he pulled out his phone. "Then why was she here the other night?" He demanded, showing Jack a picture of him and a very familiar girl walking home together.
Katie. Jack's body tensed and Max noticed, chuckling as he let go of Jack's collar and backed away. "Looks like I've hit a nerve there, little Jackie-boy."
Jack glared daggers at his older brother, anger boiling within him. "Where did you get that picture?"
"One of the boys sent it to me." Max shrugged. "By the way you're reacting it looks like she'll just have to join Lacy and Mom on the list." He threatened.
Jack snapped and pushed Max against the side of the house, just as Max had done to him moments before. "You stay the fuck away from them, Max. We agreed to keep them out of this."
"Well looks like all rules are coming down, huh?" Max smirked.
"You bastard!" Jack shouted, lifting his hand up to give Max a good punch before Will, their other older brother pulled them apart.
"What the hell is going on?!" He shouted, furious. "And why the hell are you here?" Will asked Max pointedly. "We made a deal."
"All rules are coming down, Will. You better watch out." Max spat, pushing Will off of him and storming out the backyard. Will let out a sigh of relief as the sound of Max's motorcycle racing off into the night broke the silence.
"That was too fucking close, Jack." Will sighed, frustrated as he ran his hand through his blonde hair.
"I know."
"Jackie?" Jack looked up at Lacy's bedroom window where she was looking down at them. "What's going on?" She asked worriedly.
"Nothing. I promise. Just go back to bed, okay?" Jack replied carefully.
"Okay... Nighty night!" She replied before shutting the window and going back to bed.
"We better go tell dad what happened. We'll need more security around here." Will suggested and Jack nodded, following him into their father's office.
The two sat down, waiting for their father to look up at them from the computer in front of him. "Boys." He greeted.
"I'm guessing you saw everything?" Jack asked, knowing of the many hidden cameras scattered around the property.
"I did. Clearly, we have to be a whole lot careful with our actions."
Will nodded in agreement. "We can't let anything happen to Mom and Lacy."
"And Katie." Jack added.
"When did Katie come into this?" Will asked his brother.
"I'm not too sure. He brought her up." Jack replied.
Their dad folded his hands and looked at them. "Boys, Katie has been involved from the very beginning."

Ooh conspiracy! What do you think is going on? Hmmmm? Send me a message if you have an idea!
This is just a shorter chapter just to give you a small look at Jack's house, but don't worry. I'll have a longer chapter up tomorrow.
