Sunpelt became deputy at an extremely young age- 13 moons.
She set out a patrol. Darkstar and Swiftstripe.
But it turns out there was a third creature on that patrol.
A bear.
Swiftstripe had no choice but to run.
Darkstar was loosing his lives-fast.
Swiftstripe ran to get Sunpelt.
She ran faster that she'd ran her whole life.
"My love... Sunpelt...~" He meowed weakly.
"Darkstar.. no..." She sobbed, burying her nose in his fur.. it was already cold.
Swiftstripe looked at Sunpelt.
"You continue as leader." Sunpelt narrowed her eyes.
Swiftstripe gasped.
"Me?!"
"Yes. I must return to BloodClan.." She reached down and unlatched Darkstar's collar. She sobbed silently and latched it on the closest tree. "Goodbye my love..~"
