It's been 349 hours since Megan last looked Quinn in the eye. Constantly avoiding in classes and the school hallways. 349 hours since the wrath of Megan's mother was unleashed. A wrath that Quinn only got a glimpse of, as she watched Megan and her mother leave. 349 hours since Riley silently picked up Quinn, not a word of the event was spoken about, nothing but: "Damnit Sage". 349 hours since Megan tried to kiss Quinn. Kiss.

349 hours of panic.

It was currently after school, Quinn was explaining her panic to Aaren, Monica, and Nora. Quinn bemoaning while her head rested on Aaren's leg. Aaren's fault for being a living pillow.

"Have you tried talking to her?" Nora questioned, clearly at the end of her wits with Quinn's avoidance with confronting the issue.

"How the fuck do I talk to her? 'Hey Megan, you tried to kiss me, what was that about?' Sure that'll go well! I haven't even been here a month and I've heard all the talk about Megan playing with others emotions for the fun of it."

Aaren jumped in the conversation. "True, the Neon Queen does wear her heart on her cheek and I've seen her tauntings, they're not pretty, but the people she plays with are a bunch of bigots. I'm not exactly concerned. So tell me why exactly you're worried about."

"What does heart on your cheek mean?" Quinn asked. Aaren sighed, explained, then asked for Quinn's answer.

"I hardly know her."

"Then get to know her you idiot." Said Nora, who was now looking on her phone. In the meantime Monica was trying to catch up on missed sleep doing   an essay on Alexander Hamilton, by the end of the essay it was just Hamilton quotes from the musical.

"You make it sound so simple."

"Because it is."

"Come on Nora, talking isn't that simple."

"Hilarious coming from the person who yelled, 'ass, titties' in the library just yesterday." Nora glared. Aaren went silent.

"Go talk to her, Quinn."

After 349 hours since Quinn last saw Megan. Megan was talking to some of the cheerleaders, their conversation had a wrongness to it. Then Megan turned around as if she had a sense for where Quinn was. When Megan saw Quinn, she did the last thing Quinn expected, Megan turned the corner and ran, in a flash of neon she was gone.

Apparently talking to Megan wasn't as simple as knocking on the Maximoff door. Standing in the middle of the doorway was a in the bluest of hoodies boy no older than 12, "She's not here." He said then shut the door. Quinn then heard Megan yell: "Alan, is she gone?"

Quinn rang the bell again. Alan opened the door, repeated: "she's not here." Then closed the door again. Quinn rang the doorbell again. The door opened. The door closed. The bell rang, the door opened, the door closed. The bell rang the door opened the door closed. Thebellrangthedooropenedthedoorclosed.

Then like a flash of a camera, an annoyed middle aged man with the whitest of hair, matching most of Megan's hair, opened the door. "You two. Stop." Then he was gone. And that must be the father.
