Forcefully, Coda pushed a metal container out from the building causing it to crash open by the time he made it back down. He bent down to pick up and carefully looked at a piece of glass. It turned on as soon as electronic lights lit up on his hand and went through to the glass. Haven Nano System showed up on the glass screen. He recognized that it was the same thing that was read on the side of the building. That was of course, before the building started turning into a home for moss and vines.
The glass didn't show much information before it started glitching and that's when Coda heard another noise. Quickly, he turned his head but was met with nothing leaving his eyes narrowed at the fact that someone else is around. He stood up and cautiously started walking towards where he heard the noises when suddenly he was met with a knife to his neck. Instinctively, he kicked whoever was behind him with full force and pulled out his own knife before facing it towards another masked person such as himself. Then they began.
Blades fought against each other with high speed before the sword on the back of Coda was unleashed. He charged at an impeccable speed but unfortunately missed leaving on a scratch on himself as the opponent dived down and cut his leg. She had a smaller sword ripped out from her backpack and soon it upgraded from knives to swords slowly bleeding each other. But Coda saw he had a chance. The other person started showing weakness and fatigue and Coda ran straight up from behind being able to head lock them before tying them to a tree with a rope wrapped around his waist.
He ripped of the mask of the opponent and suddenly realisation hit him and memories started flooding in. He remembered that she was a scientist who worked with him back in the Haven Facilities. He remembered that she was in the same department as him, but couldn't remember her name or anything else. He stumbled back away from her while shaking his head after realising that he gave her the chance to run away after she used a ring on her finger with blade opened up from letting her cut the rope free.
He got back up and started following her through the now abandoned town covered in forestry. It was still shining brightly and he was starting to get hot in his dark clothes. She stopped and looked back at him before smiling reassuringly then went inside the small building inside of them. Coda followed but still being cautious of what could happen, considering the girl just tried to kill him.
Faces started to stare back at him, familiar faces. Flashbacks of the operation kept happening. He finally remembered more of what happened to the city after staring back at what was left of the rest of the staff. He remembered that they were trying to create a utopia city but failed due to electrical and technological difficulties ending in people dying and running away.
He then started walking towards the small group of people whilst slowly taking off his cap and mask revealing to everyone who he was. He smiled because he found more people alive but stopped in his tracks when their face expressions started changing. He thought he remembered everything but maybe he was wrong, maybe there was something else that was lost away in his mind. Then he heard something creeping up behind him.
