King Dice was showing his two new lackies how to shuffle a deck and do some card tricks to impress people. Beppi seemed very happy with the idea of doing quote unquote "magic tricks" as a mode of entertainment. Sally just liked learning all she could so she could show off a little. King Dice was already convincing her that being food at cards was like a performance. Once he teaches these two cards, then it will be roulette and dominos and everything else in a casino. Heck, King Doce was almost feeling at home with these two.
Out of the corner of his eye he could see Blind Specter from the train outside the casino. He looked like he was juggling his eyes in his hands. Another look could see a small jar for collecting spare coins for money. It was honestly very pitiful. But with pity could come the last ally he needs. The ally of Diamonds.
"Y'all stay right here. I have a deal to make."
King Dice left Bippi and Sally to continue playing srounf with the cards. King Dice walked across the street to where Blind Specter was. He noticed him and he started floating backwards, obviously scared of him. King Dice sighed in annoyance.
"Specter, Sir."
Blind Specter knew he was coming towards him now. Oh no, what disc he want? If this week could get any worse, this was how. He didn't need to lose the money he didn't have. Losing his spot on the train was bad enough.
"Go away King Dice. I'm trying to earn some cash. And before you ask, I don't need no deal to do it."
King Dice fixed his bow tie and fiddles with his suit. He sighs and take some out the last necklace, the diamond suit necklace. He showed it to Blind Specter, who lifted his hands so his eyes could see it.
"Once I get enough funds, I'm startin up the casino. But I'd need employees. If I do ya a favor, I want ya to work there."
Blind Specter put down his hands. He turned his head away, crossing his arms. He huffed out a breath of air. King Dice knew he didn't want this. A simple gesture. King Dice scoffed. He clearly doesn't want a job. King Dice was about to just turn around and give up on it.
"Hey! Specter! Long time no see!"
Beppi and Sally came in to convince Blind Specter. Sally took the necklace and both of them went straight to convincing him. King Dice smirked to himself. These two were quite useful in some ways.
"Sally? Beppi? Don't tell me King Dice has you both under contract."
Sally and Beppi both looked at eachother. Blind Soecter understood that they were both st them merch at King Dice. From stories, he heard that Sally heated on her husband and now he Really husband was recently exposed for being the actual cheater. Then Beppi, his amuesment Park closed down and unlike Djimmi or Baroness Von Bon Bon he wasn't able to get a new job. This is where they've come to.
"I knew it. I don't want anything to do with you or your casino. You've mad a bad choice again, but fool me twice shame on me."
King Dice didn't like Blind Specter's lack of cooperation. King Dice stepped in and took out an ace of diamonds. Sally looked up at him, slightly annoyed he stole the spotlight yet happy she didn't have to deal with this. Beppi, however, was just unhappy that Specter was unhappy.
"Specter. I have an Ace Of Diamonds in my hand. On its own, it's just a card. It hasn't no value on its one. However, once you have the whole hand together everything works and if the hand is good you could win the pot. We have three Aces, which isn't worth a whole lot. But four aces? That is pretty up there on the scale. One Ace for each suit. And you look like a Diamonds man."
Sally held out the necklace after King Dice nodded at her to do so. Blind Specter took one eye out of his left hand and placed it in his eyesocket. He clearly saw Beppi, Sally, and King Dice. Beppi had a welcoming, comforting smile on his face. Sally looked hopeful and excited. The there was King Dice. His face was impossible to read. He couldn't tell if he was plotting something, concerned, depressed, or any other emotion. He was just... there. Blind Specter looked at the necklace one more time before taking it and wrapping it around his neck.
"Alright, you win. A job at the casino, right? I could probably be good with Dice and dealing or what not."
King Dice smirked. He had all four suits in line. Sally Spades, Beppi Clubs, Specter Diamonds, And Dice Hearts. He had the money. All he needs now Is his casino and then everything will be according to plan.
Inkwell Isles will be his again.
