I watched the the birds fly past some buildings while Me and Hank were heading off to the office. It was a clear and sunny day in Detroit and I fiddled with my coin quietly since I didn't want Hank to be mad and take it away again. I barely got it back from him too

My thoughts were interrupted as the car stopped and Hank ordered me to get off. I nodded and quickly got out of the car and fixed my suit before looking over to the yawning man. "So, Lieutenant. Should we head inside?" I offered while I did a quick scan on his body for any health issues. Thankfully nothing was found and Hank started to speak

"Yeah yeah.. we better have no deviant issues today.." I heard him mutter to himself. I nodded in agreement before I closed the car door and turned around to head into the building when I saw a woman running in the distance into the building. It looked like she was wearing (f/c) high heels too which I would assume they would hurt quite a bit

"Hey Connor.. you ain't coming?" Hank said to me before I quickly gave him a nod and followed him inside. I didn't even notice he was already ahead of me. Who was that person anyway and why don't I recognise her

I kept thinking about that Lady until lunch where Hank nudged me which made me raise my head and look towards him.
"What's bothering you Connor" he asked with a slight smirk and his arms crossed

"... It's nothing Lietenant" I replied with a small smile before looking around, scanning the room completley. As I was almost finishing the scan of the large office I noticed a familiar figure in the distance

I hopped off the bus while looking at my watch as I speed walked towards my new job as a intern for the Detroit Police. "Jeez.. already 6 minutes late.." I muttered before I just decided to run for it. It was my first day working officially for the police and I can't make myself look like a slob in front of my new boss

"Damn you high heels.." I muttered to myself before jogging towards the building and heading towards the floor I was supposed to work at. after about 3 minutes I was there and I quickly went in to meet the captain, Jeffery Fowler

Thankfully he didn't mind me being so late and was actually really nice. We had a brief talk before he pointed to a empty desk which he said was next to a officer named Gavin Reed. He also told me that I just need to sit there and help with some files. I nodded and smiled at Jeffery, thankful that he wasn't mad. He gave a small smile back before I quickly headed to my desk with my belongings

A nice desktop computer was already there and it was cleaner than I expected. As I was cleaning up my things I heard two voices right next to my desk

"Hey-"
"Hello-"

It was Gavin Reed and our polite Connor standing next to your desk. Gavin slowly raised his head towards Connor's direction and raised a eyebrow. "What are you doing here, you plastic prick?" he asked the android with a small smirk before turning his head back to you. "Sorry bout that babe, don't mind him" He said as he shot you a wink before putting out a hand for you to shake

"My name is Gavin. And what's your name, beautiful?" he asked with a flirty look in his eye which made you internally gag inside. But you knew that his desk was right infront of yours so you decided to be polite

"My name is (Y/n).. Nice to meet you Gavin" You said before gently shaking his hand and pulling it away quickly. You let out a small sigh before Connor spoke up.
"And my name is Connor. I believe we will be seeing eachother very often Ms.(L/n), so I wanted to say hello" He said with a polite smile which made you smile back at him

"Hello Connor. It's a pleasure to meet such a polite person" You said with a slight laugh before deciding to head back to organizing your things
"Would you like me to help you with that?" Connor asked as he looked over at the large box filled with your belongings

You smiled at him and nodded. "That would be lovely" You replied as you noticed that Gavin glared at Connor before whispering something in his ear and leaving. You watched him leave with a slight frown. "Are you alright Connor?" You asked the android as you were genuinely worried. Then you also questioned yourself why would a android be here in the first place? You brushed it off and looked at Connor waiting for his reply

"I'm alright (Y/n)" he replied with his slightly stiff yet cute voice. You turned slightly pink at your own thoughts and just nodded. "If he does something to you.. I hope you inform Jeffery" you said before taking out some things and placing them on your desk. One was which a photo of you and your adorable dog

"That's really cute" Connor said with a small smile as he looked at the photo. you chuckled and nodded in agreement. "Thank you. My dog is adorable"
"Of course but I meant you (Y/n)" he said as he kept staring at the photo
Your face quickly turned red but Connor didn't think much about it. Since he was just telling the truth and he always tells the truth unless it's a crime situation

"t.. thanks Connor" You said before you kept cleaning up your desk with Connor's help.
"No problem" he said as he carried the heavy things for you and organized them on your desk

~Time skip because I don't careeeee~

I met Lieutenant Hank and he reminded me a lot of my own father which made it very nice to talk to him too. He swore sometimes but he was more nice which I appreciated. After a  day of talking to some people I was at my desk which my head was resting on as I was sleepy for some reason. As I was about to fall into a small coma I felt something warm engulf my body

It made me smile from the warmth and since my eyes were closed and I was already tired, I just accepted the warm gift. Then I felt my body being gently shook. "(Y/n).. Are you tired?"

Connor. I quickly sat up and looked at the gorgeous android with a blush across my face. "Y-yeah sorry.." I then noticed I had a fluffy blanket around my body. "Connor did you..?" I asked as I looked at the blanket

He nodded and showed me his adorable smile again. "I thought you might get sick since the air conditioner is right above your desk which would make it very cold" He said. I smiled at him

"I appreciate that Connor. I thought you were going to scold me" I said with a small giggle. As I looked back up at him you noticed the android's cheeks were slightly blue. He covered his mouth while his eyes shifted to the side

I tilted my head slightly and stood up before wrapping the blanket around the taller android. "Do androids get cold too Connor? It looks like your sick" I said in a worried tone as you succeeded to make a android burrito out of Connor

He just shook his head and the blueness disappeared. "We androids can't feel anything heat or coldness from the outside unless it damages our bodies." He explained and I just nodded.
"You being wrapped in a blanket is very cute though"I said with another laugh which made The blueness return to Connor's face

Weird..
