Timer finale

Your POV

What? 8 minutes? What did the timers mean?

"....fck" of course I know what they meant. I said it to myself 2 seconds ago and I heard it clear as day. I grabbed 800- no, connor's wrist before running towards the cyberlife tower. We could hide in my office which is one of the most highly secure and protected rooms of the whole building and we wouldnt get killed by anything.. normal at least

Connor looked just as confused as I would expect him to be as the innocent child didnt even know what the timer meant and why i probably looked like I was going shit my pants right then and there

"(Y/n), can you please explain what's going on and where we are going?" The boy asked me as we kept running.
"To... my office!" I exclaimed as my legs were slowly giving up on me. Connor probably noticed right away and after I noticed him processing the information he swiftly picked me up bridal style, before he sped to the cyberlife tower, luckily not asking about the timer anymore

I yelped and clung onto the android, closing my eyes and leaning against him but as I did so, I heard something I was not expecting

..... a heartbeat? I didnt think the hearts in androids would make such a noticable amount of noise. I could feel my face turn beet red before I opened my eyes and looked up at connor, admiring every part of his face and truly heartbroken that in 6 minutes, there would be a chance I wouldn't be able to ever see it again

Everything just hit me all at once. Tears started to flow down my cheeks as I remembered how heart broken I was when they took connor away from me, the second he opened his eyes and greeted me. The horror on his face as security came in and separated us right before they wiped his memory as well

But cyberlife didnt let me have their android making blueprints and devices for nothing.

When I looked around us we were in my office. The table I finished building connor was as messy as i left hours ago. I quickly turned around and took connor's hand

"... you deserve to know" I muttered before I closed my eyes and my hands started to lose color, the white metal underneath it showing itself to both of us

I could feel connor twitch but I felt he had done the same with his hands. I transferred the memories of him first waking and all the emotions we felt, back to him and when I was done we both were panting

Just like humans

"Listen, connor... there's a place you can be free and it's called J-"

Slow clapping filled the room

I froze and snapped my head towards the source of the noise, immediately scanning the room before I saw him. The creation which cyberlife made itself from stealing more from me

"Werent you saying something (Y/n)? About someplace... we ALL could be free?" The cold voice of the android infront of me spoke with its icy cold stare staring at me and connor

I hate this company. How could they even make him look identical.

"... what are you doing here, 900" I asked as I glared back, not backing down so easily

" you already know (Y/n) and even if you didnt.. there was already a warning" 900 spoke as he tapped his wrist where he had his timer on as well

Connor stood infront of me all of a sudden, his face telling me he realized what the timer meant. Then he opened his mouth and started to talk

"... I dont know you well (Y/n).. and you dont know me but, it was nice meeting you and I want to say thank you. For everything" connor spoke to me with a broken smile on his face

Oh connor, I knew you were different, and the bright red LED next to your eye is telling me I was right. Before I could respond to his heartfelt words connor took my hand in his and kissed it, before he attacked 900 the next second after

The two were imitating eachother's movements, punches, and defences but the most thing that caught my eye was my timer

It had returned to normal, no, the time on it increased! So 900 was the reason behind all of this..

Each time connor looked back from fighting, he was desperately telling me to run away while I could and I knew I should've. Connor was going to die but I wouldn't let it be in vain

While 900's fist plunged into connor's chest and ripped his light blue, thirium covered heart out, that was the moment i threw my printer at 900's head and dazed him before I got a pair of scissors and stabbed him multiple times

Both of them dead at my feet. I was tired and exhausted, cyberlife would be out to get me, but I knew what I had to do next

2 months later

I was sitting with north on the top of a huge boat, the 2nd location provided for androids like us. For the ones that were in Jericho. Before I left cyberlife I took all the data I had and hacked trucks amongst trucks full of android parts and supplies from Cyberlife before I returned

Everyone was ecstatic but I had to work hard for those 2 months. But all I know right now is that it was worth it

"(Y/n)!!" I heard someone call my name

"Oh? Lover boy is back to see you after 2 minutes of not being able to" North said as she faked gagging as I laughed and shooed her away

I looked back to see "lover boy" and stood up before walking over to him

"You feeling alright connor? You seemed awkward in not being in your original attire" I said to the brown haired boy who was smiling brightly

"I feel amazing! Now that I see you though.. I could never feel any better" he said before he pulled me in by my waist and kissed me gently

I kissed back, smiling through it as well

Cyberlife made me think I was human for many years as they wiped my memory with their first era of technology. But cyberlife gave me more advanced technology as time passed (dumb fucks) which made me remember everything and helped me realize the powers I had

Like being able to gain an android's full set of memories and emotions just by holding their hand and re-inserting all of it into another model, same or different

Luckily I fixed connor's model and he was good as new, making my life 100× more happier

And we also scratched those damn timers off our wrists
