Cute Moment-(Danny Green)-For Lacee

You winced as another series of period cramps hit you. You groaned and moaned into your black and gray Spurs' hoodie. "And the San Antonio Spurs' win 120-89 against the New York Knicks" the commentator said. All the players walked across the court, giving high-fives to each other's team. A weather report came across the bottom of the screen as a long beep played for the terrible snow storm that was raging outside and all around the rest of New York. After the game went off, you were too lazy to change the channel and the weather came on. Your phone rung beside you, Danny's picture on the lit-up screen. "Hello?" you answered with a groggy voice. "Babe you feeling okay?" "No! I'm not!" you snapped, "this stupid storm has me trapped inside all week, and my period cramps are killing me, and I'm craving chocolate like crazy-and-and-" "Lacee, calm down" he said.

Tears ran down your face as your hormones raged just like the storm. "Danny, I really don't want to talk anymore, bye." You threw your phone back on the couch and laid down. About an hour later of moping, a knock came from your apartment door. You got up and stomped to the door, pissed. You swung open the door and Danny was standing there. His arms full of flowers, chocolate and other bags. Your jaw dropped. "Danny, get in here!" you scolded, pulling on his jacket, which was covered in snow. "What are you doing out there in that storm?" You took the things out his cold hands and sat them on the coffee table. "I know you said you weren't feeling well and I since I was in town with the game tonight." Your face softened.  "You drove through this storm just to see me?" you asked. "Yeah, you seemed so upset when I called" he explained. "Thank you." You both sat on the couch, Danny playing with your hair as you ate your chocolate. "You feeling better?" he asked. You nodded, mouth full. "You're the best." He just smiled and kissed your forehead.
