Eis threw her spear at me. I could feel the cold ice slice a gash on my leg. I could hear the black pants I was wearing rip as it stuck itself snuggly into the ground. She made another one, this time, it cut me right under my ribs. Then another, and another. I could feel every single score she created on my body. As each moment passed my body grew colder, and colder. I was shivering uncontrollably. I was soaked to the bone, the only thing keeping me warm was my own blood as it ran down my body.

"Baby, please don't leave me!" I begged as I hugged my lover's bloody body close to me. The smell of iron so strong, it made me sick.

Her cold hand came up and rested on my cheek. I looked down at her. One hand over the bullet wound lodged in her chest.

"Please, I need you here." I whispered to her.

Warm tears started to slide down my cheeks. Someone already had 911 on the phone, but I feared it would be too late for them to come

So much blood escaped from between my fingers, but I kept the pressure down just how I was taught. The blood just wouldn't stop.

The love of my life looked into my eyes, for what I knew would be the last time.

"Raven, you have to live..." She said weakly. I could feel her fingers trembling on my skin.

"No, no I can't. I need you to live. You make everything worth it...You're the reason I want to live." I sobbed.

"My love, you have too. These were the cards we were dealt. But...I know you can kill this bitch. Get back at her, for doing this to us." She said as tears now escaped her eyes as well.

"I'm not ready to go...But I can feel myself slipping, Raven. But at least, I'm in your arms. You know how much I love to cuddle.." She smiled up at me. I couldn't help but to try and cuddle as close as I can.

"Kiss me one last time...Maybe you can kiss it all better." She chuckled lightly for a moment, before putting all her focus on breathing.

I looked back down at her, I gave her a small smile before leaning down and placing my lips to hers. She pulled me closer to her, deepening the kiss.

The kiss was short, yet sweet. She was the first one to pull away. As she pulled away, I could see a bright light entering me.

"What was that?" I asked her, slightly confused. I saw her smile again.

"Just a parting gift..." She told me quietly. Still, it didn't make sense...Until it did. She had what I was looking for this whole time.

"Oh no...Baby, No..." I sobbed. I didn't want her to leave me. I didn't care if she had the amulet the whole time. I just needed her here.

"I love you, don't get yourself killed with your new gift, okay?" She said as she started to cry as well. Her skin grew colder by the minute. And I knew she didn't have much time left.

I nodded, and put my forehead to hers.

"I love you too, chrysí mou." I knew she loved it when I spoke Greek to her. She closed her eyes peacefully.

"One more time..." She whispered to me. I couldn't help but smile.

"Ekató kardiés tha ítan polý líges gia na kratísoun óli tin agápi mou gia séna. " (A hundred hearts would be too few to carry all my love for you.) I whispered to her quietly. I kissed her forehead, one last time. I heard her take her final breath, and then she fell totally silent.
