Melanie's POV

"Em, don't freak out, but they're here." I said as I showed her Bradley's text and nodded towards the door. They still couldn't see us because we're by the guitar section, and they're by the piano one, which is right by the entrance.

Emma read the text and looked at me with wide eyes. "Shit, they're early." She whispered so only I'd hear since there weren't many people in the store. Thus, they would most likely hear us if we talked loudly; like we normally do. She turned around and saw them then turned back to me and smiled comfortingly. "It's going to be alright, relax." She said, noticing that I was nervous.

I nodded and started walking towards them with Melanie right beside me. The first one to notice us was Connor, he smiled at us and waved. "Hi!" He said as he looked at us. "Guys, it's Melanie and Emma." Connor told the others. He turned back to us and smiled again.

They all turned around and I made eye contact with Bradley. He smiled softly at me, causing a shy smile on my face.

"Hey guys, nice to see you again." I said, addressing all of them.

"Hey, lovely to see you. How are you?" Emma said smiling at all of them.

"Good, thanks for asking." Connor said with a small grin on his face.

The others greeted us and said that they were fine as well. We looked around for awhile and I notice Bradley made his way to the guitar section.

"No way! I've been looking for this guitar for ages!" He said quite loudly. I made my way towards him and saw that he was addressing the same guitar that I was searching for earlier.

"The 'Fender Player Jazzmaster'?" I asked him.

He turned around and looked at me with his eyes wide. "You know about the 'Fender Player Jazzmaster'?" He asked slightly impressed.

"Of course, who doesn't? I've been looking for it for the past few months. I was here before you guys because I wanted to see if they had it, which they do." I said as I looked at the guitar as if it was a baby. He didn't say anything but kept looking at me. I turned to him and caught him staring. "What?" I asked, slightly embarrassed.

"Nothing, I just didn't know you played." He said, looking away and back at the guitar. "Do you play any other instrument?" He asked.

"Yes, the piano." I said smiling slightly. "I love the piano, it's my favorite instrument. It's so delicate and soft, but can also be rough and harsh." I said, full on geeking out.

Ugh why am I so embarrassing.

"Sorry, this is like the second time you see me geeking out in less than five minutes." I said as I blushed slightly and looked away from him.

"No no, I like the way you talk about instruments." He said, smiling back at me. I looked up at him and we made eye contact for a brief three seconds before he broke the silence. "Maybe we should get going." He said, not breaking the eye contact.
