Going Through Heat-Chapter Eight

TARA
I drive to the Pack House as a headache pounds into my skull.

I park the car and soon the door to the house opens and Paige runs out.
With a look of concern she helps me get out of the car.

"Oh Tara,I'm so sorry you have to go through this."She says as she rubs my back helping me inside of the house.
She leads me into a hallway before clicking a button for the elevator.
Pressing the button for the top floor the elevator goes up.

I groan in my pain as my head pounds.
Paige grabs my hand and leads me into the foyer of the apartment.
She opens a door to a bedroom and I sniff the room.
It smells heavenly of Pine trees and cinnamon.

She leads me to the bed and takes my shoes off before pulling the comforter over my body.

Paige leaves the room leaving me by myself.
I look around the room and see black and white photos framed on the wall.
There are some with wolves and family members.
Then there is one of family and wolves.
I squint my eyes thinking that can't possibly be real.
Humans are hugging the wolves in the picture.

The door opens again and Paige rushes into the room.
"Tara."She said soothingly lifting my body up.
"Drink this it will help with the pain."I sigh in content as the warm tea fills up my stomach.

I lay back down and close my eyes as I hear the door open again.
Hands rub my head soothingly.
"Sleep now little one,I'm here for you"
Just like that I was knocked out.

I'm holding onto a thick fur as I see trees past my vision.
Confused I look around and the trees past by me faster if that's possible.
Soon enough the thing that I'm holding onto tightly stops in front of a creek.

It crouches down for me to hop off of it.
I turn my head looking up and realizing that it was a big ass wolf.
What the hell?
I reach forward and pet it with a smile on my face.

The White wolf rubs his muzzle into my hand licking it.
My smiles grows bigger and I let out a giggle.
Then the wolf growls and I look away from him to see another wolf appearing.
But this time it wasn't friendly.

It has red eyes as it looks at me ready to pounce its prey.
I let out a big squeal as the wolf leaps towards me.
Closing my eyes and screaming I'm ready to be attacked.

I wake up with a scream as my eyes shoot open and pain is all over my body.
Looking around the room I find it empty.

Or at least I thought it was when my eyes found Blake's as he watches me from his position on the couch.
He's laying on the couch lazily as he watches me.
His head rests on the pillow and his body is sprawled out onto the couch with his feet hanging off of the other end.

His crystal blue eye makes my heart thump loudly.

Suddenly he stands up and slowly walks over to me.
I feel as I'm his prey and I quickly shoot up out of the bed and press my self unto the headboard.

His footsteps echo in the large bedroom as he walks towards me slowly.
Blake's eyes hold mine and I feel sparks shoot up to my hands and toes.
Wanting to touch him so badly.

"How are you feeling?" He asks watching me with concern.
"Not well." I mutter with a groan as my head pounds.

Blake sits down on the bed where my feet are and starts massaging my leg.
I moan as tingles it sparks shoot up my leg.
Everywhere he places his hand sparks travel with his touch.
He removes his hands from me and tightens them into fists.
