Meadow

Like a meadow,
I suppose,
But one which brings no hope,
Yet some still go for a joke,
And it causes them to choke.
What's that? An old bloke?
Yes, and it's one that smokes,
Wanting nothing more than a few folks,
But even with the bolts,
I suppose,
He's just like this meadow.
