A young man sat across the room beside an older gentleman. He was of a colored background, handsome with striking eyes, the color of jade--a rock with a delicate pigment of mint green. He bore a content expression as the older man was enjoying himself for once.

The elder's face became more bright as a beauty dressed in blue gracefully glided to his side.
"Diana, it's a pleasure to see you here", the old man smiled.
"It's nice to see you too Carl", the woman beamed with a heavenly glow. Her eyes wandered towards the man beside Carl as they squinted slightly at his presence. He reacted by standing up straighter than before but still looked relaxed as he had one hand in his pant pocket and the other held glass of liquor.
"And who might this be?", Diana questioned the old man as her eyes glared with intrigue for the man.

"Oh, this is Markus, my son", he let out a chuckle as he forgot that the man was even present.

"Diana, as this young man had said before", she complimented the old man and stretched out her arm to formally greet the man.
"Its a pleasure to meet you", Markus looked at her with interest in his eyes, mirroring the woman.
"The pleasure is all mine", she smiled as she took a sip of the white wine she grabbed on the way there.
"Will I see more of you this evening miss?", the man spoke with his eyebrows raised.

"You just might~" she grinned as she walked away with a trail of light radiating within her.

Another book!? By yours truly!? Haha, I felt like starting another one, but this one might have slower updates compared to the Connor one, either way, I hope you like the concept of this book as well! Btw, if you haven't noticed already it's a Markus x OC story, and heavily influenced by the 2017 remake of Dynasty. Hope you enjoy!
