I'm awakened from my terrible dream by my alarm clock.
I'm only waken to find out the first day of sophomore year is today.
I lay in bed thinking how Schools going to go. freshman year didn't go so well. the popular girls called me emo because one day one of the cheerleaders saw my cuts and told everyone and I didn't have many friends do to the fact I would cute because I was going through pain no one understood or knew.
I look at the clock and saw it was 6:25 I have to be out the door at 7:15 and I plan to curl my hair so I had no choice but to get up
as soon as I get up my door opens
"Goodmorning Mandy" my mom says (foster mom) giving me a huge smile
"morning mom" I say giving her a smile back
"I just came in to tell you I will be driving you to school today so be ready by 7:30" she said
I have my mom a nod letting her know I understood what she said
she then walked right out and shut the door
I got up and plugged my phone on my ihome and turned some music on while I got ready.
I decided to wear light makeup today, I have pretty clear skin so I didn't apply any foundation only mascara and eyeliner and lipstick.
I decided to wear light washed shorts with a hoodie and a cute black beanie and my black vans.
I curled my hair into light beachy waves I headed down stairs and got my penny board looks at the clock and it read 7:24 I went up stairs and went to my moms room to inform her I was ready and then we went off
on the way to school was silent only sound was the music on the radio. as we started to arrive to school mother stopped on the side
"Mandy you know I love you. I know you've been through alot and all I want is what's best for you. so if you're going through a hard time you know you can tell me I will help." my mom said trying not to get teary
"I know..." I said looking out the window I absolutely love my mom but talking about my past scares me and terrifies me to the point were I can barley function so I just nod and try to avoid the subject.
"alright have a good first day" mom said then reaching to me giving me a tight hug
I hug her back and then grab my board and walk out of the car
as I walking towards the administration office someone bumps into me which causes both to fall
