In a panic, Sal called Brian as fast as he possibly could, every time he heard it ring, he became more and more worried,

"Fuck" he muttered, then finally, a man, sounding beyond upset, answered, James was correct, Brian was crying, which was something he didn't often do, and he was not the emotional type of person.

"S...Sal?" Brian asked as he tried to calm himself, though he couldn't.

"I'm here, Brian... What's wrong?" Sal's heart began to pound harder, it felt as if it was pounding harder than it had ever before, Brian sighed, wiping tears from his eyes, exhaling deeply he said,

"Sal...."

"Brian..What's the matter?" Sal asked, he himself was on the verge of tears, but he knew he had to stay strong, he had to stay strong for the man he loved.

"I.....I'm a fucking idiot" Brian claimed.

"Brian, don't say that about yourself, your not an idiot, what's going on?" Sal asked worryingly, he hadn't the slightest idea of why Brian was so miserable, though, Sal wasn't the only one who was clueless, no one else had any possible idea of what could be the matter with Quinn.

"I don't know what to do anymore Sal..." Brian shamefully admitted, he normally dealt with his problems himself, he hated turning to others for help, but he knew this was a time he needed to, and Sal was someone he could trust, he knew Sal was there and wouldn't give up on him.

"It's...gonna be okay Bri,I promise" though Sal had no idea what was going on, he promised the man he loved that things would become better, although Sal didn't know if they would; it took everything Sal had to keep the tears back, he had to stay strong for Brian, for the man he adored.

For the next twenty minutes, Sal listened to Brian cry, he felt that at this very moment, he would do anything to make Brian happy once again, then all of a sudden Sal began to think,

"Why didn't he turn to Halley for help, she is his fiance...,"

Sal was beyond confused, but then, of course, his mind turned the thought into one of his utterly impossible fantasies,

"I wish I could be Brian's husband..." Sal then snapped out of it knowing this was not the time to be day-dreaming.

"Brian, I'm really worried about you" Sal stated.

"Don't be Sal, it's not worth it" Brian coldly said.

"Why, why shouldn't I worry about the man I lo...." Sal covered his mouth realizing what he had just almost admitted to.

"Because what's the point in worrying about me?" Brian answered, thankfully his mind didn't process the end of Sal's sentence, which Sal was grateful for.

"Brian, don't fight with me, you can't dictate whether I worry about you or not" Sal assured, he wanted to go over to Brian and spill his feelings, he would do anything to cheer the miserable Quinn up, in his mind he said,

"I love you Brian" he wished Brian would just catch on and reply with the four words Sal was dying to hear,

"I love you too" but Sal knew that his chances were one to nothing.

"Sal?" Brian asked softly.

"Yeah?" Sal whispered back.

"Do....do you think you could possibly come over?" Brian asked shyly.

"Of course, when exactly do you want me to?" Sal's heart fluttered at the idea of seeing Brian.

"Uh...do you think now would be possible?" Brian practically whispered.

"Yeah, I'll be over in about ten minutes, okay?" Sal asked he knew he had to get there as soon as he could, and maybe if he tried he could get Brian to tell him what was wrong.

"Okay Sally, don't rush" Brian attempted to stop crying, cause if there was one thing he hated, it was crying in front of people, especially Sal, because if he cried in front of him, Sal would begin to cry as well.

"Okay, it's gonna be alright Brian, I promise"

"I wouldn't be too sure Sal, see you soon"

"Bye" for Sal, hanging up was oddly painful, but Sal didn't think anything of it, he threw on a shirt and a pair of pants and ran outside; he got in his car and drove to Brian's.

Nearly fifteen minutes later he arrived at Brian's home, he quickly got out and ran up to the door to knock, and soon enough a miserable, sleepy Brian came to the door,

"Hey Sally, thanks for coming," Brian said as he rubbed his dark brown eyes.

"No worries Bri" Sal said as he walked in, he closed the door behind him.

"Brian you really need to tell me what's going on"

"It doesn't matter" Brian muttered.

"Yes, it does!" Sal said louder than he meant.

"I'm....I'm really sorry, I'm just worried" Sal shamefully apologized. Brian walked towards him and tightly wrapped his arms around Sal, he enjoyed Brian's hugs, he always thought Q felt like a big teddy bear.

"I should have trusted you Sal" Brian cried into Sal's shoulder, Sal was confused, he had no idea what Brian should have trusted him on.

"Trusted me about what?" Sal asked.

The next seven words to come out of Brian's mouth would fill Sal with rage, they would add another person to the list of people which Sal Vulcano hated.....
