Next morning.

Sophie's eye fluttered open and she looked around the room. This didn't seem familiar to her. Not at all. Sitting up she looked out of the window. Her head was killing her. Eyes darted to the door and Eggsy's head appeared in them.

"How are you?" He asked already redressed in his tux but missing the orange jacket.

"Head... hurts..." Sophie pointed slowly at her head and furrowed her eyebrows.

Eggsy nodded and disappeared for a second, coming back with glass of water and some Advil.

After swallowing them Sophie looked at the glass in her hand.

"I thought I would die in that rain." She mumbled.

"Thank you..." She whispered looking up at Eggsy, tears gathering in her eyes.

"No, no, no. Don't cry." Eggsy was on his knees at the end of the bed and looking up at Sophie. He hated seeing her cry.

"You have no idea how it feels when you know your life is about to end..." Sophie said looking away from him, drying her tears in shirts sleeve.

"And what now? Everyone's dead. Kingsman was the only life I knew. Even if it sucked" Sophie glanced at Eggsy for a second.

"I know what orphanage was like, I don't want life like that, Unwin." Sophie said swallowing thickly and then looking out of the window again.

"I hardly remember anything before orphanage... I don't even know why I'm telling you this." Sophie said sniffling.

"It's funny, daughter of an agent ended up in orphanage." Sophie smiled bitterly. Eggsy stayed silent, listening carefully, not wanting to mess up her train of thought. He enjoyed listening to her talking rather much as of late.

"Maybe I should have died?" She mumbled quietly.

"Don't even think about it." Eggsy said his hands resting on her knees to get Sophie's attention.

"Why do you care? Don't you have girlfriend to go to?" Sophie said with distaste looking at his hands on her knees. She wanted to swat them away, but somehow, she welcomed his warm touch.

"If for one second you think that I don't care about you..." Eggsy said, anger and disappointment starting to weight down his brow.

"Then what?" Sophie challenged him, anger of her own dangerously dancing with his. What was she waiting for? What was she wanting to hear him say?

I'm fucking stupid. She thought for a second. And her anger was gone like that.

"Don't... Just forget it." Sophie said pulling her legs away from his hands.

"I know I have been acting like a monster towards you." Eggsy sighed putting his forehead on bed.

Sophie turned to look at him. Like how much she wanted to hate him, she couldn't.

"You're not a monster, G." Sophie whispered and intertwined her fingers with his.

"But you're not happy." Eggsy mumbled into bed.

Sophie didn't answer for a while. For a minute, everything felt right, like it was supposed to be. Maybe it was because her hand was intertwined with his. She wanted to hold his hand just like he was holding her heart, forever. And she knew it was cliché but she had to distance herself from him. Too addicting in every way. It was funny how he could break her heart into thousands of tiny shards that killed her from inside, but at the same time he was the only one who could mend her tormented soul.
