Summary

Jung Jiwoo is a major fangirl - she stalks like a hawk and preys like a lion - she knows everything about everyone and she is in love with Park Sunwoo. On the flip side, Han Joonho is the hottest rising actor and heartthrob of 2018. But after a hostile encounter with a group of reporters, Joonho is sent into "incognito" and escapes back to his hometown. When he crosses path with Jiwoo, he realizes he may have met something more than just his biggest anti-fan.

Author's Note

Hello, readers and welcome to my first korean-based story, Fangirl. This is my first Korean story, so my characters are all Korean and the setting is also in cities of South Korea. I have always wanted to write a story with Korean characters, settings, culture, etc. I hesitated a lot because I just wasn't sure how to exactly execute a Korean story written in English. But after much thought, I just thought why not. 

It really was never my intention to make this into a kpop fanfic just because I had created these characters and the story plot years ago before I even thought about who would play the character roles. I honestly did envision Jisoo from Black Pink a lot when writing Jung Jiwoo because she had a lot of the similar features I had made for the character itself.  I struggled a lot with Joonho's character because I had specific features I really wanted to keep for the character and then I stumbled upon BTS' Jin and he was a perfect match! This story really was never intended to be a kpop fanfic or a Jinsoo ship (as I discovered on google when looking for their pics) but at this point ... it is what it is. So please, when you read this story try not to envision these characters as Black Pink's Jisoo and BTS' Jin but escapism-'s Jung Jiwoo and Han Joonho. 

Also, another thing to note is that in Korea, last names come first when addressing a person's full name, so that is why it will say 'Han Joonho' instead of 'Joonho Han'.
