Yoongi immediately lifted his head up from (y/n) shoulder just after what Namjoon had said. He thought it was odd from Namjoon to ask him such question ,who had never met before,to just simply ask to be brothers. Yoongi looked at Namjoon,who was surprised to see his face up close,Yoongi titled his head and raised an eyebrow as his soft dark eyes looked into Namjoon soft gleaming eyes

"Y-Y-Your b-brother?"

Namjoon heart slightly fluttered at hearing Yoongi soft voice,Yoongi voice sounded unique to him. He saw Yoongi staring at him nervously and then remembered he hadn't answered him yet,Namjoon nodded his head without hesitation and smiled widely

"Yeah! We'll have fun,play together,eat,share things,and always be with each other!"

Yoongi stared at Namjoon,who happily spoke with confidence at what he was saying. He gulped and looked away from Namjoon as his shyness was growing 

"B-B-But I-I'm b-boring and s-stupid"

Namjoon titled his head and stared at him in confusion

"Who said you were boring and that bad word?"

Now it was Yoongi turn to look at Namjoon in confusion

"B-Bad word?"

"Yeah,that s word. Uncle Mino said it once and I asked him what it meant and he said it's more of a rude or bad word for saying dumb. It sounds harsh,but I don't think you're boring and dumb"

Yoongi slightly began to blushing shyly and shook his head

"Y-Yes I am!"

"Who told you that?"

Yoongi and Namjoon jumped at suddenly hearing (y/n) voice,they had forgotten that she was there due to her being silent the whole time. (Y/n) pulled Yoongi away from her shoulder area and placed him down in front of her,so he could look at her clearly and she could look at him clearly as well. Yoongi looked at (y/n) and took note of all of her features,his mouth began to slightly hung open as he seemed to be taken away

"Pretty"

To him,it had seemed like he whispered that to himself but in reality,(y/n) heard it clearly. She softly chuckled and moved her thumb towards his cheek and softly rubbed her thumb against his cheek for affection

"Thank you"

"O-Oh! Y-You heard m-me"

(Y/n) began to laugh being amused by him as his cheeks began to flush brightly

"How old are you Yoongi?"

Yoongi eyes gleamed brightly and immediately looked down at his fingers,trying to remember something he had learned before to show others his age. With confidence,he lifted up his right hand and placed four fingers down leaving his pointer finger standing up

"I'm this old!"

"One year old?"

"Yes!"

(Y/n) nodded her head and noted herself that Yoongi was now the second oldest out of all the younger boys in the house

"You're older than Namjoon"

Yoongi furrowed his brows in confusion

"Who's Namjoon?"

Namjoon,who was standing beside (y/n),looked at Yoongi in disbelief and began to fake cry

"Yoon-ah! I'm Namjoon!"

Yoongi turned his head to look at him and began to frown

"My name is Yoongi,not Yoon-ah"

"B-But I want to call you Yoon-ah"

Yoongi shook his head and looked back at (y/n)

"My name is Min Yoongi"

(Y/n) nodded and cleared her throat trying to point out something from earlier

"Yoongi,why did you say that you were boring and stupid?"

Yoongi heart suddenly sadden,recalling the memories that had lead him to those words

"M-My e-eomma told me that b-because I-I always c-cried when I-I wanted to play with other kids b-but they didn't w-want to p-play with me"

(Y/n) heart began to ache and she frowned,who would say that to their own child,who is barely a year old. She noticed Yoongi eyes began to look gloss up and his breathing was hitching

"I-I was s-sad and felt l-lonely"

Tears slipped down at the corner of his eyes,his cheeks and nose were flushed pink,and he began to tremble. (Y/n) immediately picked him up and placed him on her lap,she wrapped her arms around him and he snuggled closer to her

"Don't worry about it anymore,I'll always be with you. You won't be lonely anymore,you have me now"

"And me! And Hoseok! And Seokjin! Oh! And uncle Mino!"

Yoongi stayed silent as he feared that everything was just a dream and he would wake up soon to the living hell he lived in. (Y/n) looked down at him in worry but noticed he had his eyes shut

"W-What's wrong baby?"

Yoongi slowly opened his eyes and still saw (y/n) face

"T-This is not a d-dream?"

"No,this is real Yoongi"

"Are you sure?"

"Super sure"

"A-And y-you were n-not lying w-when you said t-that I-I have y-you now?"

(Y/n) softly smiled and nodded her head reassuring

"I was saying the truth dear"
