^^hahahaha does this count as clickbait

OKAY BITCH SO,
there are a few types of bonds
•Ionic
-nonmetal + metal
•Metallic
-metal + metal
•Polar Covalent
-nonmetal + nonmetal (polar)
•Non-Polar Covalent
- nonmetal + nonmetal (non-polar)

AND AND AND
Some bonds are stronger than others, the strength goes (least to greatest):
Nonpolar C < Polar C < Metallic < Ionic
^thats pretty important

For instance, NaCl would be one of the strongest (ionic)

NaNa would be semi-strong (Metallic)

H2O would be Polar Covalent mainly because they're two different elements and don't have the same charge.

Cl2 would be a nonpolar and would be a very weak bond.

Definition of an Ionic Bonds
An ionic bond is a force of attraction that can hold a positive + a negative electron together. IT CAN ONLY FORM BETWEEN A NONMETAL + A METAL ELEMENT.  Ionic bonds form strongest because it takes the least amount of energy for the two to bond. And like myself, atoms are lazy.
