In comparison, the odds of a person encountering a Shinning Pokémon are approximately 1 in 8,000. Yes, that's right. You are more likely to get struck by lightning then encounter a Shinning Pokémon. Remember; don't go scouting for Shinning Pokémon during a thunderstorm. Statistically the odds are not in your favor.
