Crystal Onix Ch. 14

Dawn's POV

"Hey! Crystal! Dawn! Where'd ya go!" We heard shouts above us.

Crystal immediately sprang up, waving her hands and flashlight and shouting while I sat there watching and washing my fur. It was pretty dirty and I cringed.

A flashlight shined down from the hole in the ceiling that we made while falling down. A few faces peeked over the edge of the hole, including Andrew's, the Professor's, Drew's, and Lyy.

"Ah, finally," Crystal sighed in relief as she collapsed on the floor in exhaustion.

The flashlight landed onto Crystal while I stayed in the dark, watching patiently.

"Crystal! Geez, how did you get down there?" Andrew shouted.

"I fell! What do you think? I just jumped down here?" Crystal replied sarcastically. "Dawn's down here, too!"

"Are you hurt?" Professor Rowan asked.

"We're fine!" Shouted Crystal in reply.

"It's too deep! We can't reach you!" Andrew said, looking at the drop.

"You'll have to find a way out yourself. We'll meet you at the entrance to the cave!" Professor Rowan shouted as Crystal nodded.

Suddenly, Drew jumped down from the hole and landed beside Crystal, shocking her and Andrew and the Professor above.

"Ah- Drew!" Crystal said in surprise.

"There's no way I'd leave you alone down here," He grunted.

May, Ash, and Serena stared from the hole before shouting out, "Stay safe!"

Crystal waved. "Alright! See you guys later!"

The light from above soon faded and the sound of their footsteps echoed until it was silent. Crystal stared and shined her flashlight on the ground.

"Let's get going guys."

I guessed that Drew hadn't seen my evolved state yet, so I wanted to mess with him. I smirked as I stayed in the dark as everyone started walking away from the whole. I crept behind them as they silently made their way through the cave. I waved my tail at a slow pace, the bell at the end making a noise at every shake and echoing around the cave. I tried not to laugh as I heard Drew hitch his breath and ask Crystal, "What was that?"

Crystal must've guessed what I was doing since she only giggled and kept silent.

The thing about being a cat pokemon was that I could see perfectly fine in the dark. I leapt towards Drew's legs and brushed against him with a smirk. He stopped in surprise and went onto defense mode. I laughed at loud as it echoed around the cave, making Drew even more on edge. He turned in my direction and Crystal shined the flashlight on me with a knowing smirk.

"Are you scared of ghosts, Drew?" I asked amusingly.

Drew stared at me in shock. "Dawn? Is that you?"

I laughed again and then smiled. "Just evolved now!" I stuck my tongue out.

Drew was about to say something when suddenly, the cave shook violently and little bits of rock fell from the roof of the cave.

"Run!" Crystal exclaimed. "It might fall in!"

We ran through the cave quickly, the cave shaking more violently as we kept at it. We suddenly emptied out into a wide cavern filled with glowing rocks that lit it up. The cavern was shaking, too, and as we reached the middle of it, from the cave we came out of cane a giant Onix. But not just any Onix, a crystal Onix.
