Hello! This story was originally published in my short story book Snippets and was an entry for a mini-competition on The Teen Fiction Awards 2018 hosted by @EmmaEverAfter. My inspiration for this Snippet came from the amount of hate that is brought upon the LGBT+ Community, especially the youth. I wanted to take a stand against it, as I do in many of my stories. I feel like it's beyond important to write characters who are LGBT+ because straight should never be considered the default. And why should a character be defined by their sexuality? Anyway, I hope you enjoy! Below is a review by @Riredia, who awarded my short story 2nd place! :)

"The concept here was very similar to some that I read, but this one didn't end with some sense of understanding. It ended with, 'I guess my life is just one big lie.' It didn't get better, it showed what happens the more we think. I really enjoyed this sense of realism."
