This is purely a work of fiction. I own my own made-up characters, but the rest of the storyline belongs to its rightful owners.
I am in no way romanticizing war, as this is (again) merely a work of fiction. There are no words to describe what war is like for citizens and soldiers affected by it. I am grateful that I didn't have to find out.
I am aware that what happened in Dunkirk is one of the most terrible things in history. I understand that there are families that have suffered loss during that time.
If you are in any way going to be offended by the fact that I have created a fanfiction out of the movie Dunkirk, then I would advise you to not read it.
While I am sorry that there is war, there is also nothing that I or anybody else can do to change it. There is always going to be some type of loss and some type of fighting, and that is something that we are just going to have to work past.
I wish the world wasn't so evil, but that's the way life works.
