"GUS I'M HERE!" I call as I close the front door of my best friend's house.

I walk upstairs up to Gus's bedroom and knock on his door.

"If your naked cover up I'm coming in!" I yell jokingly from outside the door.

"Come in!" Gus responds.

I walk into his bedroom and see him sitting on his bed looking at his phone.

He's wearing black sweatpants and he's shirtless.

I blush at the sight and hide my face so he doesn't see.

Gus has been my best friend since kindergarten and we grew up together. Once we entered highschool I started to catch feelings for him.

Now we are seniors and I have a hardcore crush on him, but I'm scared it will ruin out friendship so I've never told him.

"Hey nerd." Gus says getting up from him bed and pulling me in for a hug.

"Sup dork." I laugh hugging him back.

We both sit on his bed and he lights up a joint.

He takes a drag and hands it to me.

I take a hit from it and hand it back to him. We pass it back and forth until it's done, both of us completely stoned.

Gus gets up and walks to the other side of the room, turning on his stereo. He turns on a song and walks back to the bed, flopping down on his stomach and burying his face in the pillows.

I giggle and ruffle his blonde hair.

He flips over and lies on his back looking up at me.

My eyes focus on his full, pink lips. Which look so kissable.

I must have zoned out because Gus waves in my face snapping me back.

"You okay?" Gus asked laughing.

"Y-yeah just very high." I say.

"Same!!!" He yells playfully.

I lay down next to him and rest my head against his shoulder.

I look up at his tattooed face and he seems to be deep in thought.

"Peep?" I ask.

He doesn't respond to the nickname, only turning to face me and looking in my eyes.

"You're really beautiful." He says smiling, showing his pink diamond grillz.

"Peep?" I repeat more confused this time.

Just then he crashes his lips against mine. I am taken by surprise but do not hesitate to kiss back.

Gus pulls back and I am too shocked to say anything.

"I've been wanting to do that for a long time." He says grinning.

I pull him back in and this time I kiss him first, letting him know I feel the same.

We pull away after a minute and he grins knowingly.

"Damn alright girl I got ya." He says and I laugh.

"So I guess this leads me to my next question." He says pushing a strand of my Y/H/C hair behind my ear.

"What's that?" I ask curiously.

"Y/N, will you be my girlfriend." Gus asks smiling.

"I'd love to." I reply then pecking his lips.

Gus pulls me into him and I cuddle up against him.

"I've been wanting this for years." I admit.

"Me too boo." He chuckles and kisses my head.

I get butterflies in my stomach from the nickname and I blush hard.

It feels different having my life long best friend as my boyfriend now. But a good different.

And I'm so happy.
